Silver is actually traditionally for evil spirits in a number of cultures. It wasn't until The Wolf Man that silver bullets for werewolves became a thing.
seriously Cybor, I am beyond any articulation of how i appreciate these monster vlogs. i hope you go through the full series and tbh i got scared a year ago when i thought for whatever reason you wouldn't complete this series. idk it made me vv sad lol but again your red dwarf vlogs got me really into that show and i ate up all your RDVlogs and loved them too! thanks so much for your content i really appreciate it being a part of my enjoyments of life. again here's wishing you the best and a greater tomorrow
One of my favorite episodes of the whole series is the gift and I’m so glad you’re getting to that one it’s one of the best and made me really emotional on my first watch

I kinda don't like the ending, because it lacks the "moral/aesop/lesson/what have ya". The other Monster episodes - in a true horror anthology fashion - either have characters pay for their flaws (hubris, lust, violance, prejudice, being an asshole...) or at the very least use the tragedy do say something about humanity. In other words - they try to say someting. This episode, on the other hand... I don't know what kind of conclusion we are to draw from it.
