Moondog, another good review that answers all of my questions. I had been contemplating pulling the trigger on the Olight Arkfeld and stumbled across the Tracer on the Monstrum website. Looked for a review on RU-vid and you popped up. Great comparison. At that price point, it might be worth getting the Tracer even though it lacks some of the features of the Arkfeld like memory and light/laser activation simultaneously. Thanks again for what you do. Keep ‘em coming.
Very cool video, liked and subbed! I was on the fence about this light and the Arkfeld. Then I found the Fenix PD36TAC and I think I’m going with that for my EDC holster.
With this light vs the Arkfeld Pro or regular version, yeah it might not be as fancy but I like that it uses a USB C charger instead of a proprietary magnetic charger. That's important feature to me.
I'm assuming Monstrum will make a Gen2 based on their past product improvements but this could be years not months until they make one. Hope you subscribe.
It doesn’t have brightness memory? Very disappointing, that’s such a basic feature. Was about to get this because my arkfelds magnetic base is having issues charging and it’s only a couple months old 💀 Nitecore edc27 it is, then
@@MoondogReviews Unfortunately I’m in need of a pocketable, reliable flashlight by this weekend. Will definitely be keeping an eye on Olight, Monstrum and others though because having a laser has come in very handy. More than I would’ve thought.
I learned after Bidenflation to avoid mentioning price lest it make my video dated. But it's about 60 bux which is about 20 bux less than a similar Arkfeld.
