Mont Blanc - Up Trois Monts and down Gouter 

Since I started mountaineering two years ago, Mont Blanc was immediately a milestone I wanted to achieve. At 4808 meters tall it's the highest mountain in the Alps and western Europe. So no doubt this was the pinnacle of my trip :) We started at 1:30 in the morning from the Cosmiques hut. Due to the fact that snow had fallen for the past two days, the conditions were a bit challenging, after finding the route and help rescue a group who slipped of an icy face, we managed to summit at about 13:00 and then went down through the Gouter route, reaching the Gouter hut at about 16:30.
