Its always amazing to me how Jason can totally capture the spirit and essence of something as deeply personal as sharing a hunting camp with friends. No flashy production or loud music, just the deep, lasting feelings of those far too frequent times.
Great video. I share a deer camp each year with a couple of friends. It’s leased land and not always productive, but deer camp with good friends is what you remember. As you said getting a deer is a bonus.
4 years ago bow hunting I watched this at 15 yards the 8 point buck came in chasing 3 does when a yote came into the rucks the buck charged the yote and almost got him. It was an awesome encounter.
I’m not sure why but as soon as I heard it was private land I instantly clicked out of the video n I stopped n asked myself why I just did that? And I realized it’s because I enjoy watching hunting videos that I can relate with and I think that if I watch this video I’m going to probably see a bunch of nice bucks and normally I would get jacked up n excited for when it’s my turn to go hunting this season but if it’s a private land film I know that what I’m watching is most likely not a reality when it comes to public land hunting.
