Just came across your channel. Looks like a fun project to follow, so I subscribed. Good idea with the real dirt, I also did that with my German layout, but not yet with my new U.S. style switching layout.

Great-looking layout. You can also use tile grout for realistic dirt, and it comes in a range of colors.

1:45 I actually like the tufts of grass but I don't think the arrangement is very good. They're very evenly spaced, and almost all of them are either right at the front, right at the back, or right in the middle.
