The Alberton Gorge, which begins just downstream of the town of Alberton, is a great stretch of whitewater, in play from June through September...

I live very close to the gorge, just didn't think it was worth the drive out. I usually just keep going to Wa and Or. to get my whitewater fix, or down to the Lochsa. The clip in you video with the kayaks doing a couple drops looks like fun. Thanks for the info.

Gotcha - to be clear, then, the rapids earlier in the episode are on a smaller river in the southwest part of the state. Only runnable during runoff, and technical as hell. We don't feel comfortable naming it, but I'm sure you can find out by asking around. And for the record, the Gorge is a blast, but nothing bigger than a class III.
