I finally took my first trip out to Montauk this season. It was early June and i was hoping to find a few bass on my first trip out east but after fishing all morning and not getting a single bite i moved around a little bit and got into a good blue fish bite! I caught my first couple fish on tins then i switched over to topwater and it was lights out! Ended up catching a couple nice sized blues and even had a double header!(2 bluefish on 1 plug!)
