Montgomery Traction Elevators at the Swissôtel Chicago 

These are probably the tallest vectors ever known

They were Modernized by Otis Compass. I've never seen a talking voices on a Montgomery Vector before.

Probably the only ever High-rise Vectors now ruined by Otis. Thank God they took out that bell, as it was that clicking sound.

Very nice elevator. Has my favorite color indicator.

They are nice elevators. I wonder when these were made, 'cause they came with a speaker for the elevator voice. And with the buttons and indicator, it must've been made in the 1990s.

BL means Ballroom Level and BC means Business Center.

Never seen a vector on a high rise....

i just went the Swissotel today in Downtown Chicago and they changed car A and car B into Otis Compass Elevators.

These are now Otis! I wanted to film them, but my camera had run out of juice!

These might have been the tallest Montgomery Vectors EVER. Too bad they got modernized, but at least the mod is good.

These Montgomery elevators video was before they were modernized into Otis Compass elevators.

They are now modernized by Otis Compass Elevonic 411M in 2012.

I'm sorry, i'm just not a big fan of Vector. The only thing I like about them is the indicator.

Not a great Montgomery. The indicator is screwy, the buttons are cheap (reminds me of Schindler MT), and it has the famous Montgomery elevator noise in the backround (the shaking sound).

These have since been modernized by OTIS.
