Had this video in my 'watch later' playlist and have just finished watching. Thank you so much for stamping at a speed i can follow. Have this set unused, enjoyed your video so much will watch again and stamp along. Am in my late 70's and struggle with poor memory, finding a demonstrator using older stock is brilliant but one who stamps at a speed to follow is outstanding 🎉🎉. See you also have video using same design but new stamp set, am off to subscribe and watch that and more of your work. Thank you for sharing your talents. Regards from UK 🇬🇧
Thank you so much for the kind words! I have never been one to rush in my stamping/card making because if I did? Then I would mess up. I guess it's the OCD in me LOL. When I decided to start doing videos, it was a must for me to use retired stuff because I have so much of it, plus I have a lot of retired that I had never put ink to and that was the case with the Christmas Season stampset. I did the other video with current product because one of my commenters on this video wanted to recreate this, however they didn't have and couldn't get this stampset. Someone made a suggestion about doing this technique with a snowflake stampset - I think I see another video coming soon since I have a few snowflake sets. Thank you for subscribing and welcome to the channel! ;)
What a great sheet/cards. This is probably the nicest one i have seen! Love the old stamp set. I watched it today but plan to replay your video and do it along with you. Please do one sheet wonder more often because you are very good at it. Thank you and God bless!
These cards are fabulous, you have done a wonderful job! I am a 77 year old woman who has made cards for years now this is the first I’ve watched your video, but it will not be my last amazing you did an amazing job. And I love it that you bring back in old product That we all have. You have been such a big help and an inspiration! Thank you and God bless you..
Thank you so much for your sweet words Mary - They have touched me immensely! Welcome to the channel and I hope I continue to inspire you. God Bless! ;)
I was really happy to come across this video, because I needed new inspiration for Christmas cards! I feel you could also make birthday cards using this technique. I'm going to try it this afternoon. Thank you for showing us how to do it.
Thanks for such an inspiring video - always after super ideas to make cards. So now to the craft room and get stamping/creating. Thanks from a new subscriber in Sydney Australia xo
Thank you so much for making this sheet. I have tried it before but didn't know what I was doing. I am Lynnie and stopped by when I saw what you were doing.
Watching the replay from Palm Bay FL. I just found you on RU-vid and I'm glad I did. I love your idea of throwback Thursday. I have this set and I can't wait to try this technique. I look forward to watching your other throwback Thursday videos. I have shared this to Pinterest and subscribed to your channel. Thanks so much for sharing 😊
First time catching your video; it was great; love the cards and this technique. Thank you for sharing and giving the dimensions so one can recreate this. I am very excited to be able to see a Christmas Inspiration monthly. This will also help me to "use" my new retired stamp sets. I subscribed so I get notified when a new one goes up. Have a crafty afternoon.
Thank you so much for the kind words & subscribing Carol. I too like knowing the dimensions so it was a must for me to add them. I hope my Monthly Christmas Card Inspiration videos inspire! You have a crafty afternoon as well! ;)
Thank you for sharing. I’ve been stamping for over 25 years and I have a lot of stamp sets that have never been used. Your cards turned out gorgeous. You stamp at my speed, so I’m going to try stamping right along with you. I’m going to check out some of your other videos too. Happy stamping.
Thank you Barbara. Yeah. I'm not one of those super fast stampers. That's when things just don't go right. I'm currently working on another one sheet wonder using a new set - stay tuned! Welcome to The Studio! ❤
I had commented on your FB page but should have commented here. I love the design just sorry the die set is retired. Is there any possibility of it coming out again?
Not a problem Susan - I just responded to your comment. I didn't use the dies on these cards, unless you were meaning the stampset. I can say - never say never, but I doubt it. I did do another version of this technique with the new Golden Greenery Bundle.
Lovely cards and a time saver too. I love doing stamped one sheet wonders, they save lots of time and can be cut in so many ways, plus you don't need to buy dsp as you've made your own one off version. Have you checked out Ruth Trice from Artful Stampin, she's a demo in the UK and is the Queen of the OSW and has LOADS of inspiration on her channel.
I looked back several years ago and found other videos by other crafters using a similar technique. That stamp set is so versatile. Glad I have it. I am inspired to get it out and play😀
@@facsmom - Lots of people of done this technique - artfulstampin with ruth is a demo from the UK and she is the queen (in my opinion) of this technique.
Kim - For my Monthly Christmas Card Inspiration videos I do use a lot of retired sets and as we get closer to the holiday I will use current. What's nice about this technique is that you could use lots of different stamps. Though it's different and it doesn't have a pinecone in the set, we have currently on the SU website under Online Exclusives the Golden Greenery stampset - come September, the new holiday mini catalog will be out and maybe there will be something in there.
