I just received my first beauty Bay order, with the Wilderness palette and the age of opulence. It did take a little while to get it, because it was shipped from overseas. I'm in the US. They were packaged great and I can't wait to try them!

I was one of the ppl initially thinking that I don't need the Age of Opulence, bc I have the Book of Magic. Oh how I changed my mind now that I have been doing my makeup with the Age of Oppulence palette for a week. 😂 I think the two are complimentary palettes to each other, but the Book of Magic has definitely more lighter tones, while the Age of Opulence is quite dark.

I ordered from Beauty Bay on the 10th and my package cleared customs yesterday (I'm in the U.S. as well for reference). I didn't get an email about it but if you go to their site with your order number you might be able to find out if yours has cleared customs as well! I realize you may have already done this but I just thought I'd share in case you haven't. I also totally agree about the baby photos! Freyja is so so cute! 🙂

I feel like DM was my number 1 palette. I pulled in a lot of random palettes to mix with it and I'm surprised at the versatility. I'm so happy I took the plunge with that price tag

I love beauty bay also they're really great imo... i think you ranked what i would.. the viseart formula isn't always consistent for me. I've only had one issue with shipping which just happened, i paid for international express and it had been 2 weeks.. ugh things happen.. CONGRATS on your little queen

I’m imagining since all the port shipping issues might have made it difficult for manny to finesse the formula with this new lab considering he wanted to have it available by the Halloween time period, hopefully by his next release he will have worked out the issues

I feel like Manny tried to save money so he went with a really cheap formula, but that’s just my opinion. I would have rather paid $12 more and had one less row of shadows and have his older formula because I personally notice a difference in quality. He could’ve said that the costs went up, but he still wants the same quality so he’s charging more and I think most people would’ve been okay with it. People pay $67 for Huda palettes so it’s not out of the ordinary. This formula reminds me of the pinky rose trilogy palette formula and I’m not a fan of those shadows either. However, I’m not mad that I got them because I got them for $9 in Boxycharm pop, not $48. I wish him the best with his brand, but I’m taking a step back until I see how his formula progresses.

I agree with u about Lunar Beauty, it's 1 of my favorite brands ever but I did not like the color story of his latest palette... was not impressed. He already had a pink palette with a pop of red in strawberry sky or whatever
