Hi Amy! I make meatloaf balls. I use the same ingredients and I stuffed them with mozzarella cheese. my little ones like it more than the traditional way.

If I may ask how many hours a day is school for you ? Also you said read aloud time? Your children are all older and can read on their own, what are you reading aloud? Just a curious question.

Do you ever try things like chicken cutlets or pork chops, or even chicken pieces on the bone. Just the plain protein with sides? Something that isn’t a casserole or shredded meat all the time. My pickiest eater doesn’t like things all mixed together. So keeping everything separate helps

I would check for local farmer markets for good deals on large quantities of produce. Our local year round farmers market always has great deals on seasonal fruits and veggies that they get from farmers in the surrounding states and local Florida farms.

Great video, great meal! Always loved my moms meatloaf, she would put 1/2 the hamburger down, make a well then put mozzarella cheese and then top with remaining burger. You may get clear tests or they may find something, but if it's found early, treatment is so much easier!!

Kraft easy pleasing meatloaf. Hamburger. Stuffing mix. Egg. Eater. Bbq sauce. Mix up. Into pan (s). Bake 1 hr.

Mmmmm! Now I’m craving sausage, peppers and onions on egg noodles. 😋

For my meatloaf I started using one pkg of Stove Top Stuffing in with the meat, eggs and an onion......in place of any tomato product, I cover it in the loaf pan with either beef or mushroom gravy....even those who don't like meatloaf really like it this way

Love your RU-vid videos. But you really need to try a Real Cuban Sandwich. It's not made with pulled pork. It's pork that has been stuffed with garlic and marinated with mojo. There is nothing like it. You have two versions in FL. of the sandwich Miami and Tampa. Miami does not put Hard Salami, Tampa does. It's made on Cuban bread with the pork , ham, swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. Then pressed until the cheese starts to melt . Cuban food is delicious, not spicy, lots of garlic and mojo is used on the meats. I've been making Cuban food for over 35 years now. Since meeting my husband. And we have lived in other states. But we still make our Cuban food. And when new people try it, they love it. Looking for new meals. Florida is known for our seafood, Cuban food and Key lime pie. 😊

Hi, Amy. I love meatloaf too but my kids and grandkids don’t like it. They also didn’t like big chunks of veggie showing, so I food processed all veggie very small. So every few months I made a small meat loaf for me and hamburger patties with rest of meatloaf mixture. They never knew it was meatloaf made into patties. LOL. If I said I was making a casserole, they wouldn’t want it but if you say it was a meat and veggies pie, it was eaten. It was a challenge sometimes to feed these people but it made life interesting. Florida is very different than where you used to live. People can put in, take out things. You have laid the groundwork now people can make it their own!!!

Amy that kitchen set up is just like your mountain home. If you set your camera on the island the stove was always behind you . The sink to your right and fridge to the left. Only thing different is no panty in that corner between the sink and stove. Seems like your almost in same kitchen minus window over the sink.

Where I live here in WV its cloudy and rainy more often than not. I went from rainy Oregon to rainy WV, lol. My hubby is a night owl and gets up between 0930 and 1100. When he needs to he can be up at 0500 to do some things that we have to drive a couple hours away for. Me on the other hand I want to be in bed by 1930 or 2000 (730 or 800pm) and up by 0600.

Since moving from Indiana to Florida, we too have changed how we are cooking and eating. I have to say, I am struggling to find dinners that everyone will eat. It's sometimes too warm to use the oven or extremely hot and cooking on the grill is a struggle, We have been using the smoker and crockpot a lot but still a struggle. Last night, I decided to fix chili and that was a nice treat. My husband didn't eat it. He says it's too hot for chili :). I also have those plates. I am not quite ready to let the younger grandsons use my glass dinnerware. Your dinner looks delicious. Thank you for sharing your life and family.

Morning. Thank you for sharing some more food ideas. I love planning out my meals and having the supplies on hand. It's just my husband and I now so I can't make a lot of food. I have to make small portions.

Good morning. We used to make meatloaf like that when I was growing up, except my mom would put a can of tomato soup on the top. Not my favorite with the soup on it. Can you use apple cider in the slushy maker? I am sure that would be fun. Meal planning is bigger challenge eaxh month, and that part is done. Do you snap picture of recipe when you pick them or bookmark the pages? You are lucky if you can get away with 1 cut per week during the summer, we used to have it cut twice a week, then once every other week in colder months. I plan 30 days once a month. I used a cheap planner and in the blocks I put dinner iideas, snacks, desserts..just wrote down where to find recipe..I write 30 meals on the dry erase board. Then the next month the ones not used go to top and fill in the rest. Shop twice a month.

When you make the Dorito casseroles, when I free e it I put everything but chips in a ziplock bag. That way chips are fresh. I also use corn chips instead of Doritos, they don’t get as soggy c

Hello Miss Amy, couple of suggestions pre-made turkey meatballs make them into swedish meatballs, Salisbury steaks with onion mushroom gravey, white chicken chili, . My family really enjoys a tapas or appetizer dinner, you can serve any leftovers as a lunch as well. We also get frozen stuffed rigatoni and top with sauce and cheese bake and viola' dinner is done. We enjoy variety so I'm always looking for different easy dinners. Also we do make your own sub dinner with chips and fresh fruit. We are not big casserole eaters, but with left over chili I make Mexican lazagna, in quiche pan put chili, the burrito shell, then cheese, salsa, sour cream then another shell keep layering finishing with salsa and cheese, heat in oven just til warmed. Delicious throughout

No no no Amy you have to stand in line for the bacon at like the meat counter the deli counter I can't remember what it's called but you have to stand in line to get the bacon not the packaged bacon it's smoked with corn husks if you ask them at the counter trust me they all know about the bacon I'm so glad you decided to wait I hope you see this❤
