Back in the day a monthly payment for hellcat was $850 Scat was 650 Rt was 450 With no down payment These new prices are stupid and people still taking out these loans like idiots
No these prices are completely outrageous! I got my fully loaded 2017 hellcat challenger for $68 out the door. Then in 2019 I brought my son a 2019 challenger scat pack out the door for $41 thousand out the door. That is all these are worth and wouldn't pay more. Still have both cars and I wouldn't even think of trading them in at any of these fantasy prices now. Still exactly the same car hasn't changed one bit. If I do decide to sell them I'm going to Chevy or Ford. Dodge is out of control
I would wait until the prices crash at the dealers on these things .. not sure if that will happen in Canada but in the states you guys got mad inventory... its insane lol
So glad I sold my RT last year. Was gonna get a scat later in the year but it just didn’t make sense. The more they sit, the happier I get knowing the prices are going to drop exponentially
Some good points, like you said, those numbers are based off excellent credit score and for new car purchases to get the 6%. The average buyer will see higher rates, like 8 to 10%. The used car market rates are even higher. I’m allergic to car payments though, I start breaking out in heat rashes, and trouble breathing. I can’t step into the building of a dealership without an oxygen tank and full bubble outfit, which I’m not buying either.
I just bought a 2022 rt with 21k miles 32k purchase price my payments are 700 and my insurance 150 for 2 cars. I love this car. I put down 3500 down and my credit was like 650. To add that's from a dealer in Atlanta .
fun vehicles but way too much money for something that is not the most reliable and on top of that you have to worry about your car being stolen or being carjacked or hassled by cops.
I'm a hardcore Ford/Lincoln guy but i was formally Mopar until Dodge announced the EV Charger with fake engine noise and exhaust notes. I've definitely seen some fuckin ridiculous prices on 392's. I'm talkin 80+ k..... You can easily get a used Redeye for that price. Dodge dealerships in my hood seemed to get off that trip and now they're being more reasonable with their prices. The inventory in my hood is actually almost gone, which is a sad sight.
I got a new2023 RT 5 months ago, my payment is 640, insurance 360. I personally don't care that its not a hell cat or scat pack or wide body, I wanted a muscle car with V8 sound. I'm totally happy with it my car
Sad how people still don't get it, this is part of the reason why the economy is the way it is and the bankers continue to win. The consumers are consistent with making bad financial decisions.
Well i got my 2017 rt in 2017 for 29k and was paying $370 a month. Dropped 10k on it. If i want it to be a wb scat. Just buy a scat motor and switch the body kit easily.
Ok let’s do math ok $39k msrp 4K tax. 39k+4k=43k now you at scat pack price. Now let’s add like a 8% interest rate and that’s with great credit. Now 43k x 0.08 is $3,440. Now you almost at $47 😂 now let’s do gap insurance and may be tire rotation and oil change maintenance most important things when buying a car unless you do your one oil change lol. Brother by the time you walk out you looking at $50k for a RT 💀 but hey I don’t know nothing 🤝🏼
@@Alex23_01 ik bro that’s insane RTs are now scats prices and scats are now hellcat prices smh🤦🏾♂️. Imagine GTs are going for RT prices😂👎🏾. I might as well get a used 300 and do a hellcat swap atp.
They know what they are doing 🤷🏽♂️. Some people would literally cut off a toe and sell their soul to own one of these cars. Look at how people won’t hesitate to take a life over a Scat, or Cat…hell even an RT simply because it’s a Charger. Meanwhile for $50,000 you can get something from Ford (damn near fully loaded) that’s putting belt to ass on anything in the price range Dodge has to offer.
The best car for you is the car you can afford to pay cash for. You want to own your vehicles, not the other way around. If you paid cash for a reliable, used car and invested that average car payment amount into good mutual funds from age 25 until retirement, you’d have MILLIONS in your investments by age 65.
Absolutely!!!! And now, some of the Charger R/T's and Challenger R/T's are having their prices slashed down to $31,000 at some Florida dealerships. This is giving an opportunity for those that couldn't before pay cash, can do it now and invest the rest of their money in good solid investments.
Wait till end of the year, maybe early next year. These cars are plentyful out there. Look at used ones last 2 years people can't afford them. Wait till 2023 models get repoed 😂😂😂
I keep saying it u better off buying a used one for cheaper that wat they want now....ppl ego wen they talk about buy new fck that buy a used one an be good
So you didn’t know going in is it gonna cost you 2000 a month that sounds like going something dumb young kids would do you guys don’t use your head. You gotta look at all the expenses before you buy end of something or you gonna be car or live with your parents, the hell gonna pay $2000 for POS Dodge or am sorry any car which people don’t pay 2000 a month cash
The man that got "got" on his hellcat is putting out this type of video. Isn't it ironic 🤔 the man who added everything they offered him in the finance office 🤔
Nobody wants a dodge, bro. Not from a dealer. The cars are trash, bro. That's being honest. I've had one. You might as well get a GTR or Vett or something. I'm not paying 80k for no hellcat, let alone a scat. I would give em 60 to 70 for a brand new hellcat. Nothing more you can get a lexus gsf that is the same as a scatpack. And that GSF is going to be running in 20 years. That scat wont. Not with the same engine. My transmission went out in my charger with 105k miles. There are to many better cars once you get to that price range.
I had 3 different dodge charger from the v6 to the scat to the hellcat and never had any mechanical problem. I can tell you never own one. Thank you for coming to the channel
