May was a busy but rewarding month! Stella's family came to visit, and we had an amazing time exploring northern Portugal. We took them to Porto, Arouca, and the stunning Peneda-Gerês National Park, Portugal's only national park, known for its breathtaking landscapes, wildlife, and ancient villages. 🏞️
Back home, we tackled some small projects like building benches and getting the land ready for Daniel's family, who will be visiting in June. We even bought a big tent and turned it into a cozy glamping spot!
On the construction front, we made great progress! We broke the stones to prepare the foundation for our house, which was a big milestone. Those stones were then used to build the new base for our tiny house. It’s exciting to see things coming together 🏡💪
One of the most incredible moments was witnessing a comet lighting up the sky over our land on 18 May 2024! ☄️
