@@CarlosSpicyweiner-iv8mq You understood the message and communication was achieved. What you're doing now is just complaining. Another name for a complainer is bitching. Don't be a little bitch.
Holy crap, it’s cool that some of those pointless spells we never use, like warlocks underwater breathing, now have a purpose! My wife and I play a lot, but because we don’t already run a ton of mythics to get our score up, and aren’t super over geared, pigging mythics isn’t really an option. These delves will literally be a game changer for us.
I wish you had the option to use bots of your warband alts as companions for delves, I'd love that, it would do wonders for immersion when roleplaying alone too
@@deathbyname23 yeah it's a MMORPG... you know... a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game... And I said it would do wonders for RP *too*, but you can also argue that basically making a team comp of different specs for delves could appeal to the rest of the player base... also "I wish I had the *option*", I don't see why people would be upset about this feature...
@@felipeleite3944once games implement those features it’s a sign that the game is close to the end of its life. They’ve given up on the mmo part and just create bots so you can play solo. They usually only do this once it’s not possible to find groups anymore in the normal way because playing with other people is much healthier for the game.
Somehow ranting in forums about a 4th pillar of the game has payed off, even if it wasn't the catalyst for it to happen. Tho many were very antagonistic about it, like how much they hate the idea.
Healers would be able to have fun in deves if Brann's playstyle adapted to your class and spec. Make him more aggressive with more damage dealt, but also more damage taken if you play on healer. Sure, his AI may focus wrong enemies, not interrupt or stand in AOE too much, but let's be honest, that doesn't differ much from random queue healing.
It can certainly feel like this if you play wow a lot, but truly considering the patch cadence of dragonflight as well as we get a super early expansion release, it truly isnt that bad.
Will my artifact fishing rod actually have a use again?! I was thinking if playing my DH as my main this time but maybe my original main Enh Shaman hmm.
There is still time in the beta for things to change, but right now as someone who mains havoc and alts ele i would put my money on enhance. There was a blue post this week stating that next week's beta build will include a ton of shaman class and spec tree changes based on player feedback. Havoc unfortunately has had almost no dev interaction. One of their trees is universely disliked, and the other is bland and undertuned. Again i do want to stress that there's still time in the beta for any of this to change. Next week we could get our "dont worry guys it's coming" post, but for now shaman has theirs and get to see what it is tuesday.
I haven't really seen much about it, but how exactly does Brann work in this? I honestly assumed he had a spec tree you could choose talents for, which could solve issues like (for example) speccing him into an interrupt talent if your class is lacking one. Hearing about the complaints people have with Delves though: I assume you just level him up and he increases in power?
in regards to the water breathing thing from that one delve, the fishing pole for exalted with the Kalu'ak in WOTLK allows for breathing under water. Which with the warband system working will eventually be something you can buy on multiple characters without them all needed the rep once they get it working for older expansion reps.
Sadly, the Fishing Pole special effects, like the one from the Kalu'ak Fishing Pole or the Legendary Fishing Pole are actually only active, while you have the Fishing Equipment buff active. So you will need to be able to cast your line once, and then you'll only have waterbreathing till you engage in combat, as that will disable the effect. And since you can't cast a fishing pole underwater, it won't be usable. So time to befriend an Alchemist for some Waterbreathing Potions :D
The Delve system looks fun, and I like that there are some bonuses of being certain races or have certain choices but I 100% know that people will be whining about "META" and so on because they have to think.
Dungeons/raids should adapt to players skill/ability to be challenging. Good gear doesn’t mean good players but it plays a part. Rewards should scale with how well a particular group did. AI
I know a lot of people are hyped for more focused gameplay loops, but where's the dumb fun? Where's the brain-off-fun? I spend all my WoW time dodging Mythic affixes, raid boss swirlies, and now new mechanics specific to each delve. Remix let's me play a Healer that spits damage abilities at random. Or poach weird ability combos to see how they interact. I have tons of fun just doing basic dungeons because it adds a little spark of random. So when I see this being just another spreadsheet event I have to ask: Where's the fun?
You've said it yourself, Remix was a huge success so you bet there will be more remixes on the way. They will never do a permanent Remix mode tho because part of what drives people besides the fun, is the FOMO.
@@diegostrossen6751 We NEED a permanent fun activity. Timewalking acts that way (kind of) because as you said it's rare. Remix has been fun, but if you removed the leveling component and made a side-game of it it'd be almost evergreen. Imagine 5-man Warfronts with tinker sockets and actual objectives. Or a Mage Tower with tinkers. You can do it without and earn a title, or with and earn currencies to collect old Transmogs that have been lost to prunings. Lots of stuff you can do to keep it going without killing it outright.
Can't wait for the community to cry they are too hard cause you actually have to interrupt or avoid things. Then blizzard nerfs it to boredom and then everyone is like these suck. Cya in a year
I don’t know how people can not know they’re paying for things, I need to check my bank account at least once a day and do weekly manual banking via instant access savings accounts.
No offense mate, but I’ll believe it after a couple of patch cycles. I’ve been down this road too many times to have undeserved optimism about small-scale content.
@@GioFan201051 Like when SWTOR merged all primary stats into "Mastery" and people accused them of copying WoW. Even though WoW Mastery is a secondary stat.
I don't wanna be a doomer but i tested this on beta a lot and it feels bland af. Seems like its something i will do once for seasonal rewards and forgot that it exists till next season
The usual content creator cycle, pretending to be excited about the new thing until 20 days into the expansion when it gets annoying for everyone and the hating videos start
I'm glad you're having fun, mate Shadowlands and DF did irreparable damage to this IP for me. No amount of flashy gameplay systems or polish is really fixing that feeling unfortunately.
@@soapgaming4903 I mean. DF was better from a gameplay perspective in terms of systems and end game content. But the characters, writing and Dragon atlantis shit was basically as bad as Shadowlands from a narrative perspective IMHO. Honestly, in some ways it was actually worse.
@@Faint0903 It's not like I'm spamming homeboy's channel daily with negative WoW comments. I've been subbed to Bell for a long time, and I've played WoW since 2004. I'm still interested to occasionally see what's going on, and whether there's maybe anything enticing that might hook me back in. Nfi why I felt the need to justify my sub to you, but there you go.
Playing free Ascention Project Manastorms are much funnier then this tbh and it's free after all. Bliz are still not worth to gove them money. They didn't change their payment model , so if I didn't play for 10 years, how many expansions do I have to buy yo start playing this one? And even if it is still one required it's 50 bucks + monthly payments...fck that.
Removing the cost for entry is the best thing. Horrific Visions felt terrible for farming currency for ages and getting limited LEARNING attempts per week, mega dismay for dying early and missing chests.
I liked having to get currency. It could make it feel more rewarding to get into. What was boring was doing the bland daily quests to get the currency.
The delves have been entertaining so far, all slightly different, and if you pay attention to the little things, a few of them set you up some dungeon content.
Leatherworkers are going to have an easier time in the underwater delve if the BFA diving helmets work. I used to carry some on me along with the suits but then realized I can just stitch one up whenever I need one since resources in your bank can be used from anywhere at anytime, the question of "how the fuck are you swimming so fast?" being answered with "divin' suit" will never not be funny.
I really loved torghast, the issue was not the tower itself it was mantatory run for other content gear and poor cosmetic rewards (just shoulders instead of full sets and low rng to get them). Also the other issue is that... well it was SL so...
@@EvilBigMad im of the same mind. i actually enjoyed the power progression of torghast and would have killed for an infinite floor mode but im a weirdo
Same. I fucking loved Torghast. I just hated that there weren't more rewards to fun-play. Remix sort if reminds me of it, but with way better game play loops and rewards.
I'm looking forward to having a way to get some nice gear solo. I just don't have the time to invest in raiding these days and walking around 1/10th the power level of everyone else just feels bad.
Im really excited for this! Always loved raiding and m+ with the homies, but having some solo content like that, you can just hop into whenever you want, is something I hoped we get for a long time now.
SAME. i still have hydrocane in my bank since cata, & i used to run gnomeregon on every alt that didnt have water breathing until i got it for them too 😂
That's ironic; in SL the game felt SUPER punishing to the point where the game was unplayable if you were Melee.. It's nice to see melee get some love for a change.
As someone that works in telecom. Please never EVER let an app 'negotiate down' your phone bill. Most promotions these days are based on the plan that you're on and many of the addons like insurance are easy ways to cut down. So if this app changes your plan to something lower, there goes your promotion on the phone which actually will raise your bill and there will be nothing that can be done about it. Or, it might remove insurance and suddenly you're in store thinking that you have it and now the phone isn't covered. I just want to warn people away from something like app auto management for a phone bill because it's super disingenuous for them to promote that so irresponsibly.
i think casters (and ranged in general) need some kind of overhaul to casting where they can move at like an RP walk pace while casting, and "cast while moving" spells and passives will negate that movement speed reduction
@@Gojimaru dog, for pvp, an RP walk during casting would be effectively 0 difference. May as well be standing still. It's just a little thing that would make it so it's not an absolute pain in the ass when fighting bosses where new attacks are constantly spawning on the ground interrupting your casts
They have to stop making this game just around "move to avoid" mechanics very soon... Playing a caster began losing the meaning. But sadly, they are making Casters having more Instant skills or Cast while moving buffs etc. and making them similar to Hunters yet every passing day... And that's also again losing the meaning of playing a caster... "Move To Avoid" is the only game they are presenting and they are getting more intensive on that every passing patch... This must change and stop.
How about they make CONTENT that you have to actually THINK and have multiple ways to do things instead of RUSHING THRU all the content to get NOTHING at the end and then do the next GENERIC CONTENT no one remember or REHASHES of previous content. EACH CLASS used to have an ability that HELPED give an edge in certain dungeons and multiple made the run more entertaining. Bizzard has NO ONE who plays the game making Content and it SHOWS....
It's rly good so far, definitely better than the screwed up torghast and warfronts (both could have been amazing). Here's a couple things that are not great though: * all caves with weird terrain. Doesn't feel great * auto attacks deal a lot of damage and the biggest mobs cant be ccd. So if you try them as mage/shaman/evoker to an extent etc then too much kiting that brings out the shortfalls of wow's non-group conbat * objectives with clicking stuff are annoying. If you could just move close to the item instead of clicking it, would make the gameplay feel smoother
Why can't they just make the same sfuff they did in classic to wrath? When stuff was fun . Also "only" 15 min of time isn't much. Do people know what the hour rate is for a lawyer, doctor or engineer. Depending on what the case is it is between 350 to practicaly infinity per hour. If l lose 15 min , it is a as if someone took a lot of mobey from me.
Sounds like nightmare dungeons from D4. Blizzard does seem to be in a rut with game development. Just make wow a 3rd person arpg with the d4 armor skins. People may actually pay $30 for a skin. 🤷♂️.
As someone who hasn't played the game since Bastion of Twilight beyond an rp/dnd style the more platformerlike elements I'm seeing in the delves here are really cool. You mentioned Evoker's having increased verticality and that made me think, what if there were easter eggs for each class in these levels only reachable with abilities that class has?
Sounds horrible! Annoying gimmicks to make the content "challenging". Everything that got you excited about them I hate! was looking forward to delves, and they ruined it!
Been a lot of fun to play, i do hope they get the class balance better. Cause i had lot more succeses with certain classes and like you guys said shadow priest arent looking good which is the class i want to play but this makes me not want to as delves are the main thing ill be doing
Wouldn't increasing magic resistance/protection of casters with limited interrupt/crowd control somewhat improve the situation with delves' (and solo content in general) playability? I mean, without homogenizing classes.
The fact that there's a seasonal affix for delves is bad news for me. It means they plan on reusing these same delves for the whole expansion. I was kind of hoping since delves are small and because the WoW team is a lot bigger these days that they'd make a new batch of delves for each season, or at least a few new ones.
