Mon français n'est pas très bon, mais je voulais partager ce film de 8 mm que mon arrière grand-père a tourné quand il était à Montréal en 1962. Si quelqu'un reconnaît des repères s'il vous plaît laissez-moi savoir dans les commentaires ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup!

0:28 - Old Champlain Bridge toll booths -- they got scrapped in the 80s
0:32 - Looks like Montreal shot from highway 132 in Longueuil/St. Lambert 0:49-1:12
St. Joseph's Oratory. Note the ladies all wearing hats! 1:13-1:48

0:16 Honore Mercier bridge back in the day. correction: pont Jacques-Cartier qui enjambe la voie maritime, en arrière plan: le réservoire du gaz métropolitain (disparue) pres du métro Frontenac.

0:17 omg il y avait des maisons sur la rue Notre-Dame, je prend ce chemin chaque matin pour aller au travail (comme tout le monde dans l'est qui voyagent en auto).. wow c'est dur a croire!

0:17 omg il y avait des maisons sur la route 132 ou rue st-charles, coin youville, 0:14 a droite du pont Jacque-Cartier : ile ronde, 0:15 le réservoire du gaz métropolitain (cylindre) pres du parc Jos-Montferrant, vu de la rive sud st-lambert (''biddon''ville de Jacque-Cartier).

Salut Marty, en fait ce n'est pas la rue notre-dame mais bien la route 132 sur la rive-sud vers le pont Jacques-Cartier

Nah, only like 6 on the south shore and 2 on the North? I mean, I'm not counting the highways and tunnel, also forgetting about the east and west ends 😂
