The ice storm knocked out power to a million people, and tossed around tree branches like they were toys. But it also blanketed our city in a beautiful world of ice, if only for a day. A gentle reminder of the power and beauty of mother nature. I decided to walk the empty streets at 2am to capture the moment before it melted away. I hope you enjoy.

Montreal has the largest urban park in Canada with more than 500 green roof tops . This is sad and caused by climate change .. Some provinces in Canada do not believe in climate change and continue to produce fossil fuels and contaminate rivers in Alberta and BC
Thank God , it didn't repeat the damage it did in 98 ice storm where Hydro towers crumbled down like noodles, power was lost for many day causing people's lives miserable in the middle of winter , it was a relief, not a let down to my opinion.
