This travel vlog is on my Swiss castle tour to the Château of Chillon in Montreux. This amazing mediaval fortress provides a marvelous view of the entire Lake of Geneva. The medieval castle was built over centuries and its interesting architecture and unique location make it one of the most visited tourist attractions in Switzerland. Chateau de Chillon is located at the very western tip of Lake Geneva and is truly one of the best places to visit in Switzerland. It's a major historic landmark and should be part of your list of what to see in Montreux, Switzerland. It can be easily accessed via bus, train, walk or boat from Geneva, Lausanne and Montreux. If you are planning a Lake Geneva Tour it will likely be on your sightseeing list already. The video covers a bit of Chateau de Chillon's history and you will get to see the amazing views from the castle.
