I'm currently reading a book that was written by Carol Elrod called "Goat water is not what you think". She and her husband Ed lived on the east side of Montserrat in Spanish Point for 4 years that is now in the exclusion zone. They had to move back to the states once the volcano erupted. They are from my city Indianapolis, Indiana. I've wanted to visit the island but haven't had the opportunity. Maybe someday.
I live here for your info you cannot get citizenship by investment you have to live here permanently for 7 years before you can apply for permanent residency then it takes another year before it may be granted. You have to go through government approval and then the British governor has the final say.
