Been following this team this year & to be honest with you, this team is not only talented, but they are all unselfish players. The challenge for this team has to be in practice because they are putting the wood to all the teams they have faced.

@@moejoe1451 Agreed! This year's team has done something that no previous Montverde team has ever done...They are all A+ students. Most of the players have made cum laude, and magna cum laude. That in itself is very impressive, and goes to the character and commitment of this year's team on and off the court. Montverde is an international school that has students from every country around the world. Their soccer team has also won national titles and boasted an unreal undefeated stretch dating 5 years without a loss. Many of this years soccer players come from African and Latin nations from around the world. There is a tradition at Montverde where every nations flag is flown and carried by students who represents those countries. The school looks like a college campus, and has housing dorms for students. It is a school most parents would dream of bringing their kids to. The education is top notch and very demanding. I hope this answers some questions you might have had about this great institution. @@DeNyaSelf The Patrick School has had a shift in direction recently....down the road - not this year - things could change big time in terms of a power shift. The guy helping out in a bigger way is the most skilled basketball player on earth lol. We will see though....should be fun to watch how everything shakes out.

Ryan Biddulph I was at the game and trust me it wasn’t boring. It was like watching highlight clips. I walked away more impressed and I have to say this is probably the best team MVA has had and that says a lot. With Scottie Barnes the old adage goes if you can’t beat them join them

He should of enrolled at Montverde. They make good players great, and great players go to the NBA. Montverde has more players drafted in the first round then any high school program in the nation.

Wavemaker most of those players transfer after the JR year so for instance #23 played at my Alma mater last year as a junior but transferred to this school for his senior year while already having a Scholarship to play at UNC in the bag

Well, here's the thing, at schools like Montverde and IMG etc, they still have to be just as good academically, not to mention Basketball games, aren't everyday, not to mention if they are doing poor academically they aren't getting minutes or not playing on the team at all, let alone the ball season is only about 2-4 months, out of 10 months in a school year.

I saw the 2016 Chino Hills team play at the CIF State Championships live. I've also seen this MVA team play and countering your opinion-2016 CH was way more skilled in shooting, handles, endurance, jumping, driving and definitely slam dunking than 2020 MVA.
