I'm with you, Don, I need to feel the dirt in my hands, and smell it. I can tell by the feel and smell how well certain plants will do...and what amendments are needed.
Do we have any concerns about agricultural textiles adding massively to prospective plastic contamination? Could this be replaced by mulching intelligently?
