My dad was always picky when listening to gardeners, but he said that Monty is the real deal. Very mild mannered, gentle, passionate and one who really loves what he does and wants others to love gardening to. To me, Monty is the best.

Beautiful advice Monty. So many try to create the perfect garden and strive to finish it but gardening doesn’t stop. It’s ongoing. Mines far from being a botanical garden. But I make little areas within our two acres. There’s always something to do, actually I usually have several projects ongoing.

Same here, its great to move between projects.. sowing early in the year, gathering and planting bare roots, hostas and dahlias mainly, digging pathways through the wooded areas, clearing areas of site for light to penetrate..2 acres here as well..😊 propagation is such a gift when you understand how easy it can be to multiply your plants... 🎁 I started my gardens about 2 years ago, there's so much to learn.. awesome way to spend time 👍

@@TrueLife-o2j Oh my! lol it’s exactly like this for me. Taking control of two acres with woods that creates a canopy which keeps the sun out is a challenge. Propagating is a blessing and I’ve had great successes with it. There’s no way I can afford to buy the plants and flowers that I want. What’s not great about free plants. 🪴 I started two years ago too. I’ve done a lot but when you look at everything it’s so spread out. The biggest challenge with our property is planning out spaces as little outside rooms and connecting them all together. I know it’s impossible to achieve that quickly. It will take years. I hope we get a little more done each season in creating the gardens we desire. My thing now is this heatwave 🥵wishing you much success this season. 🪴🪻🐝🐸

I want to visit England in the spring/ summer of 2023 (if the labor issues are solved) - i want to visit gardens or gardeners world ( if it’s public). Not as interested in big/crowded events like Chelsea - can any one advise - maybe locations in the south Cornwall , Devon ?? It’s there internet sites that lists shows or events? All help is welcomed and appreciated.

@@Incognito-turnip I am watching shows on the National Trusts Properties and like several in Kent. I was planning on Cornwall as a destination, but i can be flexible.
