Somehow I feel like without Monty, the human race doesn't stand a chance. He was always there in the background, the voice of reason and hope, quietly doing his thing and saving everyone. May we meet again, Monty.

On the new planet, Monty and Harper need to have statues and cities named after them! They saved the whole human race!

Monty is the only true, uncompromised hero of the 100... I'm sad he's gone but I'm glad he went on his own terms, after living a long, peaceful life and using the time he had to give hope to his friends again.

I'm crying like a baby right now. Monty was and always will be one of my favourite characters on the show. Same as you I am heartbroken to lose him but also so happy for the ending he got. There are never good endings on the 100 and he always tried to be good and to give others a better way to live and I'm really happy that in the end, after everything he's done, he got a good ending. Out of all the characters on the show, he's the one who really deserved it. Okay, I need to stop rambling now, I'm sorry. You brought all these feelings up again. This video was really emotional but so beautiful at the same time. You captured his character perfectly and I really couldn't hold back the tears. Thank you for capturing Monty’s character so perfectly . He is definitely one of my favorites in this show. He is mentally so strong he had to kill his own mother, watched his best friend give up on life and commit suicide, had to put his son in cryo sleep,saw the love of his life die and still single-handedly saved the human race. Clarke was right when she said “what’s up here is what is going to save us all” .May we meet again ❤️

THIS WAS POSSIBLY THE BEST MONTY EDIT EVER he was my favorite from the show and im so upset that we won't see him again with the other characters, esp since he was there since the beginning and gave the 100 a lighter tone, but im glad he had a happy life with the woman he loves and got to have a child and didn't have to die on a damn battlefield. im happy we got his son as a new character, so we'll always remember monty. may we meet again

Two days ago I finished watching season 5. I'm still crying for the end. This ending has generated sadness and happiness at the same time. Monty has been a great character. One of my favorites. He reflects the humanity that we have lost. He shows us there is still hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel and not only the tunnel. Monty is love, friendship, He is consensus among different opinions. He is always looking for the common good. He is able to execute his mother to save Octavia. He is a silent hero. He does not seek fame or recognition. That is why Monty redeems humanity only with his way of being. And while the rest of the crew sleeps in cryogenics, he has the courage to live the desired life with his beloved Harper. He brought a child to this ruthless world because he still believes that we can be better. That's why Monty is and will be an optimist of life. A believer. A survivor who never gave up. Excellent video! Capture the essence of the character to perfection. I like very much. Rest in peace Monty Green. May we meet again

I’m happy that Monty got a happy ending. He went through so much and I feel like most people around him just disregarded it because they went through stuff too. The guy almost lost his best friend their first day on the ground. He was tortured, saw his best friend go into a down spiral, found out his dad died on the way down to earth, had KILL HIS MOM, watched his best friend kill himself, thought the love of his life was about to do the same, and had to go through war after with nobody listening to him about how peace was an option. They literally could’ve stayed on earth and avoided all of the bloodshed if they had just listened to Monty about his algae, but no Octavia had to go to war. I get why him and Harper wanted to live out their lives on the ship, because what if they get to the new planet and now the ship that found it has descendants living there and another war starts. My boy Monty deserves more credit and should’ve had more screen time, but arc least I’m not saying he deserved better, because despite all the horrid stuff he went through in his youth he was happy. Also, am I the only one who remembers in season one when he yells at Jasper for calling Harper low hanging fruit?

Idk why but I had the BIGGEST crush on Monty, I kinda got mad when him and Harper dated but Ik it’s just a show ;-; - I just found out he’s in his 30’s, but other than that I adore Monty and jaspers friendship :) btw this show made me cry like 1 million times

This is truelly beautiful and emotional. Loved him and jasper. So heartbreaking of him dieing. But glad he was able to have a family with harper. They found their happeniness in that.

oh my goodness ! I've seen so many vids with this song and I thought no one would ever succeed giving me feels with it again, and... here I am. This is absolutely wonderful and beautifully sums up Monty's journey. For me, he is the strongest of them all, managing to get out of the neverending violence in the show and just... live with the one he loves. That's truly beautiful. Thank you for making this.

Even though I'm still upset and heartbroken at his death, it was beautifully written. Monty and Harper lived a happy life and eventually had Jordan Jasper Green. I'm still crying over the fact that they named their son after Jasper. They had a good life.

Monty is actually the real hero of the 100. None of them would survive if he didn’t show them decisions they had in the end and proved to them which was the best in order for them to survive. Everyone’s plan end up working temporarily but end up failing when there’s too much corruption. Monty’s plans ALWAYS work and if you really think about it, he’s the true reason of why everyone is still alive. He’s always figuring out a way even where there’s no hope.

Oh Monty. 😭 watching this edit makes me see how vital he was to everything. Clark and Bellamy may be heart and brains but Monty was the life force and the hope. I’m so saaad 😭😭 I love this

I feel like he was the best person of the entire show. No matter how much he went through - he was a good person. I am so happy he and Harper found eachother and got kind of a happy ending. But I don't know what of the rest will become without them. I hope Jordan will be as good as his parents and doesn't let the dark side, everyone has inside, take over.

The amazing thing about Monty's story is that through all the pain, all the suffering, all the death, he remained hopeful that humanity could do better. That the Hundred could get the second chance they were promised all those years ago. He remained good when the world broke everyone around him. And he proved that they can be happy again. That there's more to life than just surviving.

Whoever watched Maze Runner...Monty is just as much the glue who holds everyone together as Newt... My heart is broken, why does all the best people have to die?💔

I’m sobbing Monty was such an incredible character always willing to do what it took but he never forgave himself for it which was gorgeous and Harper was the perfect compliment to him, the two of them were so good for each other and their ending was so in character for both of them.

I read that Monty isn't even in the books!? Kudos to the show writers and of course huge props to Christopher Larkin for making him such a loveable character! Monty brought so much heart to a very rough show. He's that typical nice person who gives all of us hope that we're not too far gone, that we're worth saving. All his work and effort then the gang trashed his legacy. Smh

Back when I watched the show, i grew attached to Monty a lot more than I feel others did and Im so glad to see he kept that goodness and humanity in him that i saw from the start, I don't know how his story went after I stopped watching but a happy ending is only what he deserved and Im so happy he did get it, this video is such a wonderful tribute to such a GOOD character and I can feel your love for him in every shot of this!

He saved them all and all I wish is for his final words to come true - happy lives for them all and being the good guys for real. This is so beautiful! I especially love how you portrayed Monty's journey from happy to despair to his conscious choice to reject Jasper's belief and embrace a peaceful life. I had never made that connection before now, that Jasper and Monty are like two sides of a coin. Jasper got lost in his despair and concluded that humanity was a poison. Monty understood what Jasper believed and hoped for a better outcome. He always had hope that they could be better.

I miss him so much already!!! This video is such great quality, one of the best I've seen! I don't know what next season will be like without Monty, he was my favourite from day 1
