My dad told me that during the Malvinas conflict when they captured some british they started to sing a song he didn't recognize. A lot of years later we were watching Life of Brian and he started to laugh at the end and said "That's the song! Those motherfuckers!" So yeah, an argentinian veteran from the Malvinas war loved the idea of some captured british dudes singing about an "oh well" moment... And now my boyfriend is british and the first thing my dad said when he found out was "does he like Monty Python?

First off... (((((((I'm sorry for your losses))))))) I just sent my Good Ol' Friend a couple sorta depressing Dylan Tunes..."Mississippi", &, "Most Of The Time", from, "Tell Tale Signs". Well, 'cause I'm purrty bummed out. My Mom passed away from this realm on Sunday January 7th, & I'm here alone, cleaning out her apartment. But! Rather than getting all dressed up...she wanted to wear a T-shirt that said, "Bon Voyage", so that's what she wore! Oh Yeah! (The reason I was leaving a comment!! DOH!!!) Anywaze... He sent me this back. @@vanessastrubing2378 Yep! It's mostly uplifting or comedic music, plus personal recommendations of funny videos and compilations. I add to it almost every day, so feel free to check it out whenever. It's been around ever since I made that comment in February 2020, so the timing of Covid was coincidence - before lockdowns became the norm, I would mainly use it for minor anxiety attacks or sad days. Nonetheless, I'm happy to know that 26 people are interested in my playlist! :D

I'm digging this up in 2024 as the US is embroiled in a battle that may determine whether or not democracy and/or social order survive. As a Canadian I can't even vote in their upcoming election. I am powerless against the far-right lunacy playing out unapologetically in front of the cameras. I get so steamed I'm going to give myself a stroke. Recently I've begun singing this song to myself whenever I feel that anger rising. It really helps. I was watching Monty Python flying circus on Netflix and the episode I watched Graham Chapman had to be the one that made me laugh the most. I remembered he is the first Python to die and decided to read about it. Can't believe he died on the eve of the 20th anniversary, but I love that this song was played on his funeral. When I was 12 my brother and I got to see this at the theatre the first night it opened. We had to wait in a long line. It seemed. It was worth it. My great uncles widow took us with her brother. It was cool!! 1979 was great back in Santa Cruz Garden Mall old Town before the earthquake ..not there anymore. 89 sucked compared 79 in that town for sure!

I did this song as my alarm sound and I am singing with them at the backyard "come on get up" and after that he says "come on" it fits great! Love Monty Python!

This song will always remind me of my dad x god rest his soul x This was my ring tone when he was alive and we would always both get a very welcomed ear worm thereafter. We would then end up whistling the theme tune when ever my phone would ring and so dad would get his guitar out - what id do for one more Jam session with my old man - so miss the sound of his guitar and infectious laughter - it’s sad to say I understood him more in death than I ever did while he was alive - Sods Law! - sending love and light to my hilariously sharpe and inspirational dad on his cosmic adventure - Love you eternally number 2

so amazing - this tells you to deal with the life you have, enjoy it while you can... .. and their Galaxy song puts a better perspective on it? Bright Side of life - you're dying deal with it.. Galaxy song - "who cares what happens to you.. in the end.. its all meaningless."
