I always loved the way he specifies that they are "rotating knives". It's the sort of thing someone who is proud of what he's created would point out. It's great writing.

@@colombianguy8194 I only noticed it because they use it a lot in this. Each episode seems to have some form of lietmotif from another going through--a set, a prop, or something that's used consistently in certain sketches throughout an entire episode.
@colombianguy8194 Quite. Although the subtitles (nothing to do with Python of course) are not even Helvetica, they're the even more horrible Arial default. I'm a Times Roman person myself. Only Times Roman of course, not Times Bold. Carry on.
Well real life becomes stranger than MTP. I grew up in Yorkshire and South Africa. I used to love MTP in the late 1970s and 80’s - as I thought we were moving away from state : oligarchic stupidity / criminality - and we would never go back to barbarism. Now, I know, MTP is real life everyday and the fascist loonies are back in power, I can’t watch it anymore.
