Perugia's roster is made up of well known players from different countries.. They are really the dream team and obviously it is shown. On the other hand Monza is the dark horse of the competition. No one expected them to reach the finals. It is already a great achievement for Monza.. Good job guys..

Monza had an exceptional play this year . With their current players, it was already a surprise for them to get into the semi finals , not to mention the final. Obviously the difference between the two teams is obvious. I really would have my jaw lowered if they could drag it to game 5. A reasonable outcome. Congratz to both teams !

I am happy when I see happy people. I enjoyed with all my heart the joy of Perugia, the warm moments with all their loved ones. I would have liked to see great joy at Monza as well. However, second place in one of the most important volleyball championships in the world is not insignificant. They have a strong team and if they can keep it together, next year they will be even stronger together. Truly, Cachopa is now the most powerful Brazilian setter. I would be happy for him to be the starter in the national team, because he deserves it. I am very happy for Giannelli. This performance was missing from his record, although he is arguably the best Italian setter of the moment. Next year will be a different story... In sports, you're on top now, but you don't know what's going to happen in the next moment. That's how it is in life, actually. That's why I think it's important for every high-class athlete to be also a man of great character, who knows how to build a beautiful life, based on authentic values, in parallel with his sports career. This could mean that sports build strong, beautiful, vibrant people who have something to give to this world when they are no longer shining like stars in the sky...

I am very happy with the perforrmance of my two Perugian Cubans, who I didn't get to watch too much this season but they mattered in such an important moment. Gracias, Wilfre y Jesus!! @Leon: you're still the man!

Leon showed clearly that he is still a beast . Leon spikes are the last word .Great match ,at the end of the day perugia is the the most spectacular team , the list of spikers is unbeliaveble .They even kept Leon for many matches as bench player.A pleasure to watch .

Leon will be leaving after this, but it was nice seeing him roll back the years one last time for Perugia..All the best to him in his new club..

Man, I used to hate watching Giannelli set, especially on the national team because he was always so predictable - if the ball wasn't going to Juantorena then you'd just know he was going to set Zaytsev like 80% of the time. I'm glad that he gets to play club volleyball with world class players who give him so many options to set and thus improve his skill. I love the new, younger and more aggressive Italian national team too. Since winning Eurovolley in 2021 I've been rooting for them because of how much they changed the Azzuri's playing style. With a now amazing setter, reliable libero, some of the best middles in the world, versatile outside hitters and a not so bad opposite, I hope they go far in the Olympics.

I concgratulate both teams. Pity, that a ball contrast from court colours is poor. However the most important will be if Italian NT win a Olympic gold at last. It will depend also on if Italian players have had enough opportunities to play in this top league.
