Moodle- Cron Job

Cron Job is the execution of the cron php script at a specific interval of time. It is required by the Moodle system for the smooth functioning. These are some operations which need to be executed in the background that are triggered by the system, such as sending notifications, emails, clearing the cache, etc. These are pre-defined tasks set up by the system. We need to make sure that the PHP script is executed regularly. For this we can either execute the script manually every time or automate the process by defining the frequency at which it should be executed.
