Wouldn't it be great if you could sound design your film so well that you wouldn't need any music?
In this video, you will discover how to establish the cinematic tone of your film through our innovative sound design technique.
For this tutorial, I've put a 2-minute-long video edit using some stock footage.
The storyline here isn't exactly captivating but it will allow us to understand the process of creative tonal sound design.
After you download the pack, you will find six folders, each with a cinematic music track and its mixable parts.
Drag and drop the cinematic layers to your sequence, and keyframe their volume. This will help you create the cinematic soundscape, that begins and ends at just the right moments. By doing this, you can create various moods in your film as the landscapes shift.
Now, listen to previews of different audio "moment" clips from various folders, select the ones you like best, and then add them to your video project. They work really well at the beginning of your scene cuts.
Additionally, adding wooshes and ambiance textures on top of these tonal soundscapes and musical parts would bring even more of a cinematic feel.
