awj butt hi there my cab is a Hesu 212 modern with v30 ....if you can’t afford one I would recommend Orange cabs they are slightly similar in tone

Carlo Silvestre I there I have a video on here of the Mooer 005 boosted with a maxon 808 ,tbh it doesn’t make much difference and I prefer it on its own ...hope you can find the video mate cheers 🥂

A.H. M it’s a good little pedal worth having incase a fuse goes in your amp ect too,I’m not sure what you mean,you can’t use the cab sim individually if that’s what you mean...the helix takes IR’s I believe

A.H. M I see ,so yeah you can go straight into the desk with the pedal I’ve actually tried this at rehearsal and the bigger 15 inc speakers make the pedal sound great ,it works,hope that’s what you mean 🤪🤣

MrKill Official hi there yes I can help......so because the Mooer is a pre amp pedal,basically it is a pedal that is meant to emulate the EVH 5150iii pre amp section so in this video I simply cut the EVH pre amp out of the loop by going from guitar into Mooer then into the return of the EVH ,so what happens on the EVH that the front panel becomes redundant and the pedal including volume controls the whole amp.There is nothing wrong with putting everything in front of the amp I used to do it to cut down on cables onstage ,also before effects loops were invented .Some effects are regularly used in the loop which means after the pre amp but before the power amp,for example reverb chorus delay I usually would prefer in the loop .....wah overdrives ect in front of the pre amp basically Guitar-tuner-wah-overdrive- front of amp -send-gate-chorus-delay-reverb-return You have to figure out your preferred chain so think about it like this ,do you want gain added after delay imagine everything in the chain as the order the effect is added Hope that helps Another example is do you want reverb on every delay repeat if you do then it needs to be last 😜

Alexander Kartsonakis well you give each pre amp a level playing field ,real amps are usually more glass and cleaner than pedals

@@NinecoreNeil of course! There's nothing wrong with "trying to recreate the tone of..." gear, but if you want a marshall tone, you buy a marshall; if you wanna boogie, buy a boogie! Makes sense.

Alexander Kartsonakis yeah I think the Mooer stuff sounds great especially this pedal and it’s a good piece of kit in its own right to my ears

Rock Pinch it will do yes providing your amp takes pedals well.....start with your clean channel eq all at noon and dial the pedal in .....if you have an fx return around the back go in there instead of the input 👌

@@NinecoreNeili dont have an effects return. Just cheap small amp. After few tries my power supply were ruin. Have to wait for my new adaptor first to try out again.

Daniel Miller not really no ,I’ve not used mine for a while but can’t say it’s any noisier than any other high gain gear

I’m not sure I’ve not used it for a while ,I used to change settings due to the situation was using it in,sometimes I’d have the bass mid treble almost all around full. If I used the baby bomb I’d have them around 12👍 Gain around half way Checkout my comparison against lbx 1

Why don't you just buy a tube amp....no pedal can equal the tone and coloring..with the clarity..of tube..those pedals are good toys...gain boosters...but try recording it direct in the board...sounds like crapp...totally noise scratch. Buy a tube rigg

M J LANGLEY not everyone has a torpedo or a 1000 rig mate,if they have a tube amp they might not have a torpedo .....they might be 15 with no job ....they might want to practice without playing through their tube amp at fizzy levels ,they might not be in a band so don’t need a 100w tube amp 🤗 there’s tons of people this pedal suits and it’s a great little pedal for £80
