Nah, Joyo hasn't done emulation like this. Joyo's pedals are based on existing designs ala Tech 21. These are digital pedals based on their own designs that emulate actual amps.

Thanks for this. I'm eyeing the micro dark and a little 1x12 cab with V30 speaker for a little recording rig but now discovered these boxes and am debating going direct for home recording that won't piss off the wife. Have you been able to to try the mooer radar sans amp? I'm wonder if combining the 005 with the sans amp, I might be around to go direct and have e it sound half way decent? Either way I'm still getting the micro dark. I use protools an old digital 001 box.

@@homevalueglass3809 Have not tried the sans amp actually, only seen demos of the moor radar. Seems like a pretty handy device, especially if you gig. Since I'm no longer a gigging guitarist I prefer to use pre-amps into the recording interface and use a high-quality cab IR. Currently, I'm loving universal audio's cab IRs because there's something special about the way they integrate their software with hardware that sounds next level. If that's outside the budget, which is the case for many, two-notes also makes plenty of killer high-quality IRs that you can demo in le botique before you buy with two-notes software. Then you can load it up in the Mooer radar! Have fun!

Plz mooer!! I want an orange rockerverb preamp! I love my brown sound 3 (5153) I want like 3 or 4 more "amps" preamp pedals. The diezel, fireball, dual rec, and blackmore. Also. Please do the engl invader mooer!

Definitely preference, as the guy said. But I don’t think it’s a necessary gear to have. People argue that tube amps sound more organic, I agree with that. But there’s no way to beat the price on these pedals. It’s good quality stuff.

Relevance is not relevant. "Tube amps" have their place in the world of music as does digital modeling, as does software modeling, etc etc etc.

Mesa MK III were brutal , a lot of people complained that they were too " fizzy " with too much raw distortion which was hard to tame but perfect for me . I had the Coliseum MK III version which was also simulclass ..180 watts of fury and power . This was my first endorsement stack when I was a kid , wish I still had it and it weighed a ton .

$60 seems like a decent price for these. I couldn't pay $100 for something without a whole lot of versatility. The tone is pretty awesome for what it is though.

YES. Granted this question is now 2 years old, with the technology today, analog and digital are interfacing incredibly well together. You can use pre-amps like this directly into your interface and use cab IRs from two-notes, universal audio, ownhammer, etc in any DAW and get incredible results, not to mention nearly limitless tones.

You won't get the intended result. This is a pre-amp, not a pre-pre-amp which would be a distortion pedal.

I find that mine sounds as good in front the amp as in the effects loop. I have a Marshall MG100dfx with the mooer 005 and 011.

you still need some kind of power amp. Unless you have a powered monitor instead of a cabinet.

That would be a pretty sweet pedalboard amp.

GUITAR NERD I've a Magnum 44 and would love to hear them through the Magnum 44 - however, I only see manual switching with these preamps. If you could do at least MIDI switching with these preamps, that would be pretty awesome. Or if they were all just built into one unit. At least then you could build a proper pedalboard and have a single switch change effects & preamp channel.

@@eduardocliborio9156 I have not. I went with a NUX mighty plug. I wanted something that sounded good to me, but very compact. That fit the bill. If I ever start jamming again in a live band setting, yeah I'd like to get a few of those preamp pedals.

No, but what you could do is run an A/B rig and have this be one "amp" and the Jim Root Terror be your B amp

No se si llegue a ver esta respuesta, yo tengo el 008 y es muy versátil pero si usa pastillas pasivas es probable que necesite un overdrive para pushearlo, con pastillas activas suena bien por defecto, también tiene el mejor clean de todos los que están en este demo por si le interesa usar delays y chorus, la verdad con cualquiera puede conseguir un sonido brutal pero el 008 esta mucho más abierto a posibilidades.

@@johanneseckestrom6566 no necesita un amplificador en si, si no la etapa de poder del amplificador o una etapa de poder sola, el famoso power amp, para usar solamente la sección de power amp en un amplificador necesita usar la entrada trasera (o frontal, depende del diseño) que se llama return, la cadena sería guitarra-mooer-return, y en un power amp dedicado seria guitarra-mooer-power amp, el pedal solito NO está en capacidad de mover un gabinete de amplificador, necesita la etapa de poder de un amplificador O el power amp dedicado, ahora, para conectarlo a la computadora o a una mesa de mezclas tiene dos opciones, el pedal trae un emulador de gabinete integrado o tiene que usar una pantalla de amplificador o impulse response en su programa, que estaría simulando la etapa de power amp y gabinete de un amplificador real, si necesita saber más de esos conceptos le recomiendo que busque acá mismo en youtube, hay muchísima información en español e inglés, en español hay unos muy buenos de un canal llamado JFT producciones, saludos!

@@johanneseckestrom6566 también para poder empujar este pedal puede pegar el metal zone con ganancia 0 ANTES del mooer, también hay mucha información al respecto (en especial con el ts808 empujando amplificadores de tubos)
