This is a very different product than what Moog has previously made. I'm not sure that I'll buy one, just based on the various modules I already own. This seems that it would work well (musically) with the Subharmonicon and DFAM.
when is moog releasing a 5-6 slot Sound Studio stand? i want to get this and the Spectravox but i dont want them sitting loosely on my desk like a POOR IMBECILE
The Corrupt knob is some sort of random CV/gate generator. The more you turn it the more variation there will be. Unfortunately you're kind of at its mercy in terms of what notes it spits out so it's not something you can really program, but at the same time this could also lead to many happy accidents. You can also quantize the CV in one of 16 chromatic modes (unquantized, major, minor, etc..). Plus you can turn notes on/off, shift them over, set length... so there's a fair amount of control over everything except specific CV notes. Hope that helps.
He got his hands on an unannounced product from Moog, but can't get a tripod? It's a poor presentation and I imagine Moog isn 't happy about it unless they secretly released it to him. Moog should have just made it public and sent one to Loopop to review instead.
