Demo of our Moog Memorymoog 6-Voice Polyphonic Synthesizer
To start, let's forget the internet-lore or an "unreliable" and "impossible to tune" machine. Our service shop is known worldwide for our work on Memorymoogs and stabilizing them for real production use.
Now, let's introduce you to (what we consider) the pinnacle of Moog synthesizers. With 3 oscillators + ladder filter per voice, flexible and intuitive modulation, and a knob per function, the Memorymoog is not a force to be reckoned with, and is in what we consider to be the top 3 best sounding synthesizers ever made.
From lush pads, 18 oscillator unison leads, heavy bass, and even gentle timbres, the memorymoog is sure to be a staple piece for your session in any genre on music. Plus it has everyones favorite feature: an arpeggiator!
Our rental memorymoog will arrive with an expression pedal and 12 custom patches (87-99) made by our resident in house programmer, Eli Goss. These 12 patches are the juice that will fuel modern productions to achieve sounds unobtainable by any other synth, with plugins not even worth a mention.

I remember the keys player in the band got one of these and it had tuning problems. On power-up you had to wait till all 6 'whatevers' were in tune, and if they weren't all in tune then you were goosed. That having been said, I remember the strings sound it had was the bomb, like walking into Heaven and all cares gone, forever..

In 1984 I had a choice. A used MemoryMoog or a Korg Poly61. Same price. I chose poorly.

This is an amazing synthesizer. I love how diverse the sounds are thanks to the 18 oscillators! Very rich and full sounding. Nice demo!

I just got myself one for next to nothing and after a power supply rebuild and good calibration/tuning that I did myself (minus a couple of scares during the process), I haven't seen anything unstable about it and it sounds freaking phenomenal. FYI I spotted that T8 in the background.... I have one of them also, but that one I blew up and had to take to a friend... lol

Moog One was the Moog modular, Moog Two is the Minimoog. Moog Three would be Polymoog imo, but there were many models in-between.

This is so beautiful. It cuts through with ease. I’d really like to see a comparison between the Moog one and this . For some reason I feel the Moog one can’t get anywhere close to this, like comparing a sub 37 to a mini moog. Have you had a chance to play a Moog one ? How did it compare ?

Most folk wouldn't agree with your 'plug-in' comment... you can do it all just as well now in software, you see...;) I agree - but most of the uneducated and clueless wouldn't..! Top synth, I love mine... :)

And I hope they disagree and rent a memorymoog to see for themselves. Analog mixer distortion and the beautiful non linearities of this? I haven't seen anything close in a plugin yet..

Well you can buy an extremely rare and expensive vintage synth that likely require significant and costly maintenance, or you can buy a plugin for a fraction of the price that for all intents and purposes will be 90% there in terms of sound and will be virtually indistinguishable in a mix. There's no question that the real thing is superior, but plugins are absolutely worth a mention.
