It’s hard to offer up tutorials and demonstrations if you don’t have one. And I have a 2 year warranty should it prove to be a lemon, so not much courage needed at all. 🙂
So glad you got this help from Moog and ‘The President’ as well, awesome. Good to know that firmware will fix this! Unfortunately your video and delay in getting them In stock made my decision to go with A Polybrute 12! Maybe be able to get the muse next year if I start saving now lol
Good luck with your Polybrute. As you can probably tell by my equipment list, I'm a big fan of Moog instruments. The direction inMusic is going with them is a bit more disappointing, but if it keeps the business going and quality doesn't suffer, I'll be happy. Even Bob wasn't a business man and Moog has died an been reborn several times with varying degrees of success. I'm still hoping they continue to improve in the future.
@@GetsemaniMusic thanks, it was a big decision, been wanting the muse since it got announced , I have the Matriarch, Sub 37 and complete sound studio and this would have filled the space with the full polythonic but I missed first batch here in UK and was waiting till 1st October for new batch but it got put back till end of November and already had noticed anfew other people had returned or had issues with them. I wanted to sync with Roland TR 8s as just bought one of them but when I watched your video it made me rethink it. The polybrute does nit have Moog sound obviously but it does have its own sound and the expression side of it is awesome and so far enjoying it. I have 14 days to return it if not happy so we’ll see how it goes. I cant get another as I only play for hobby in my living room but hoping to get an outdoor building next year and will be definitively getting the Muse. Moog deserve the 6 stars for getting back to you in such a time , thy made my night 🤘🤘🙌
@@GetsemaniMusic Nothing wrong with that. I use real Midi cables and interface . Never used Usb midi... Im 54, first synth was a Poly800 with a CZ 101 6 months latter.
Hello Brian, in clock more menu, have you checked setup for analog clocking? Maybe your Muse has got setup inetrnal clocking setup. If so, just change to analogue. Ladislav from Europe
Thanks. In the original video I showed that as far as I could tell, everything was set properly. In this updated video, Moog told me CV Analog clocking was not yet fully implemented. It won’t work as I need it to until they do a firmware update.
I’m so tired of getting hardware that has been released in beta. This never happened in the old days when there was no way to update the thing. They COULD finish it before releasing it but they Don’t because they know they can do it later . With no sense of responsibility for the stress and wasted time that they place on their customers.
Not that I like it as a customer, but I can understand the business rationale for doing it especially when money is tight. Preliminary sales could cover the cost to complete development while avoiding bankruptcy, and there’s the marketing aspect of getting out on the street ahead of or simultaneously with competitors such as the Arturia Polybrute 12 which could gobble up significant market share if they don’t keep up. As long as they’re pushing hard with frequent updates (hurricanes permitting) I’ll be happy.
