Oh man. I'd take a whole hour of just that last "dark" patch and noodling around with that. Love those ambient soundscape sounds.

This to me was one of the best videos for a while. Mr. Suit & Tie Guy is the perfect mix of a musician with the technical knowledge to get where he wants. The drone part is fun, as I really love watching the two of you just enjoying the ambience and the sound! Neither of you two was there to show off how great you are, as quite a lot others on the internet are doing. It was about music and the instrument. Really great! Thanks guys.

Sounds massive, unique and exceptionally versatile! Fantastic work and hats off to the Moog team. Also... loved the magical moment between S&TG + Amos at 1:15:47 where they both realized the same thing :)

What a fantastic idea to coordinate these live videos with the One's release! Kudos to Moog on an amazing synth and a video series to match.

You can fell he's excited he moves around like he's lightly fencing in a suit. 🤺 Love the excitement. I'd buy an extended course from either of them on the Moog One. Are these sounds available anywhere?

The Roland JX-3P had a Hold function ... great idea but with only 6 voices it was extremely limited; not so on the Moog One (especially if you've got the 16 voice). Amazing it took someone this long to reinvent that wheel! Come to think of it, the 3P also had a button press vibrato, which you can do using the touch pad on Moog One. Again, very useful but way more powerful on Moog One.

that is one complex machine. Wouldn't know where to start. I'll stick with my old model d, where there is only one sound and one key at a time. The patch memory is cool though, pencil and paper.

if only the moog one were quad, then you really could make Ciani’s waves! Eric needs to stop playing those beautiful pads, i keep falling asleep and missing the rest of the video! this series makes me want to be a sound designer. ❤️ great to confirm filtered triangle will get us a lovely sine.

absolutely, I have an 8 voice DSI Rev2 and wish I would have bought the 16 voice from jump instead of paying an extra $599 now. Notes cut off when you start really sound designing, I'd imagine 16 is a stretch for a tri timbal synth like the Moog One.

I don't want this to sound incorrect - but the amount of time, effort and energy that Suit&Tie has spent recreating sounds from other people in the past on a brand new, $7000 synth, seems to me to be a huge waste of time. Why recreate the past (and continue hearing the same sounds decade after decade) instead of developing something brand new? I don't want a piano, brass, flute sound from a synth this expensive, I would like to hear sounds I have never heard before. I pride myself in trying to create unique patches on all my synths, even if they are crap and not "musically useful" at least they are unique. Please push this synth to its limits and come up with something that makes people sit up and take note...(stepping off my soapbox now)

There are many people who will buy and love this synth for the old school lovely waste of time patches. They are just gorgeous.
