'Mookid' is a bonus track from my album "to the APhEX"
(out since the 23.02.24 on the label WERF Records)
It's not on the album but it was a hard choice and I like the version so this is the chance to share it with people ;)
On this album I play around the music of Aphex Twin.
It's the second album I do around his musical universe after a first one : "APHEXionS" released in 2021 (also WERF Records).
Aphex Twin's music serves as a starting point for my musical developments which are sometimes composed and often improvised, letting me find my own playing field around the concepts and the poetics of the genius of electro music.
The album "to the APhEX" is the second of the « Ode Session » series.
Being solo or not, this project is a pretext for exploration and amusement.
A way to play.
The idea is to express myself through an artistic field that is well anchored and that is not mine to only take what I want on it, even if it means only keeping the roots.
To take a lot of freedom from a big impulse.
