If you haven't already realised, the moonberry path actually has lots of rooms in vanilla Celeste but they are slightly different, for example at 19:46 there is a screen from Celestial Resort
I think most of the music is from the original celeste soundtracks but twisted and remixed in an weird and funny way. Also the checkpoints left are mostly advanced (or lower) difficulty, so I think you can do it quite fast (maybe one more video to reach the last checkpoint and another to finish the final room)
You think the final room is long enough to be its own video? Even if it's ridiculous, say, 5 minutes to get to the end, that's still only 15-20 minutes of video.
@@indiegamechris4759 It's a bit over 5 minutes iirc, if you're stating through the whole thing (as you probably should) I don't think it'd fill a full video.
As you start your descent through the Point of No Return, i would like to give you some warnings. Final Room is LONG. if you would like to savestate to practice, dont savestate past the power box, as its meant to be sightreadble. Debugging also breaks the room so its cautioned against. wont spoil the length of the room though that's up to you to find :3 good luck!!!
I would argue about the sightread part, and I suggest to savestate practice until the end. It should be up to Chris' own experience but not the level design to decide whether sightreading the rest or not. I would say if it's for experience, then just don't use savestates at all from the start or use it whenever you want.
GG moob berry! I believe you can have 2 more episodes for 9D, one to reach the final room, and one for the final room + ending. The final room IS long, and I actually do recommend save stating past the box, but not past the red bubble (you will know which one). Good luck! And have fun finishing this incredible map!
All vanilla screens references: 18:09 idk 18:25 room 1 of 1b 19:00 idk again 19:29 one of 3a screens 20:14 one of 6b screens 20:44 one of 6b berry screen 21:11 1a cassette screen 21:52 another 6b screen 22:56 8c second screen 23:57 6c first screen 24:38 one of 2a berry screens 25:01 last screen of 1,5 k in 7b 25:32 one of farewell screens 26:00 one of 500 m 7a screens 27:33 idk... Again. 28:44 one of 5b screens 30:17 one of 3a screens 32:08 a 7b 1,5 k screen again 32:38 a 3c first screen? 33:07 a 7b 1,5 k screen once again 34:42 a 8b screen 35:41 idk what was before that but this is clearly a 2b screen 36:24 a 1b screen 37:03 a 3b screen 38:03 ??????? It feels like original screens are here... There are some d-side - like parts but they aren't from vanilla! 44:12 a 8b screen 46:23 this structure appears in every version of chapter 3 but this is definitely a 3c screen. 52:22 probably a 8b screen? Tell me what I missed or didn't know in the replies!
18:09 6a 16a [ HL-21 ] 19:00 appears to be based on the first half of 4a c-06 [ OT-6 ] 20:44 6b doesnt contain any berry rooms, it is infact 3a 03-b [ ES-7 ] 21:52 based on 7a f-02b [ 2500M-4 ] 27:33 i cant tell what screen this would have been based off if it was at all based off of a vanilla screen, it gives me 5a berry screen vibes but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 31:49 - 33:53 are all modified 7b 1500m screens (going backwards), followed by a duplicated room 38:03 is probably an original screen (it makes me think of o9d golden checkpoint but again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) 46:23 WELCOME TO THE BACKROOMS! im actually surprised you navigated this as quickly as you did... oh right, yeah theyre all share the resemblance of a resort type room that appears many times, though i want to personally say that looks more like 7a d-10 [ 1500M-16 ] to me than any of the other screens 52:22 i think this is just a custom room filled with many (all?) different entities in vanilla and is the climax screen of [ AREA_10ellECKP_v_99of the Mu ] Fun fact of the day: the red berry at 39:08 is infact a modded entity to allow the map to have a red berry without the checkpoint markers/berry counter to appear on the pause menu
And 27:33 started to remind of 5a room where you have to hit the the temple swith with the bubble and then use the same bubble to go to the left(the bubble is closed by a temple gate).
Debug mode simply comes with Everest, which you need to play modded Celeste at all. Just press F6 (make sure debug mode is turned on in Everest settings. (I think, maybe it's just always on.))
