On yesterday evening I was waiting for the bus and listening to chants as I usually do. The bus station was empty, which was odd, since the station is often full of people. I noticed the Moon, a beautiful maiden shining brightly, and grey clouds surrounding it. The Moon was so beautiful I couldn't help but stare at it, even though some people came to the platform I was at and looked at me weirdly. The Moon sent goosebumps over my back (those good ones, you know. ) I felt the energy. I noticed that the clouds seemed to fade away when I was staring at the Moon, but they always came back when I looked away. This movement happened quite quickly. This song started playing from my playlist and I started quietly whispering the lyrics. The clouds started fading away very quickly, I felt like the Moon was listening to me. When I got to the bus, I took a last glance at the Moon and it was almost covered by the clouds. People may call me crazy, but that situation was very magical to me and definitely helped me with my wiccan/green witch path. Blessed be!

I was Pagan/Wiccan for years I had become Catholic and I still feel compelled to listen to these wonderful songs and all the memories of casting circles and spells come back to me... One specifically was a Samhain ritual and I couldnt believe what happened Where most people would be scared I was happy. When I called each individual tower or corner. Something pertaining to a specific one always happened For example I called Air, the wind blew and swirled around me When i called Fire, the fire I had grew bigger and the heat went around me When I called water, the river near by rushed with quite the speed and smashed against the banks and when I called Earth I felt the ground shake. It was my back yard and it once belonged to an small tribe of indians mind you its not a place thats sacred but a sensitive said some spirits of the indians that were there are still there... I know having been to RCIA I thought perhaps what I was doing was evil... But ive found that combining both belief systems is quite the combo. Why be at odds with yourself? If your drawn to Christian and Pagan beliefs work with them both... Stop driving yourself mad. Plus it gives you a good excuse to stay out of school though thats not the only important thing... I've always felt a deep connection to the moon. As a kid, I remember looking up at it and feel like I was seeing it frown with me if I was sad, and smile down at me when I was happy. Whoever I told that always laughed at me, but even at my age now, I still feel the same way and see the same.

Tonight the moon starts her new cycle, for the first time in my whole time I've been in my room, I've never realized that she has shined her light upon my room, until tonight, when I heard the news about the eclipse, I rushed to find her, and I kid you not, I was disappointed because I wasn't able to find her from my house, I went back to my room, only to be greeted by mother moon herself as she slowly began the new cycles, I teared up in excitement as I see the process took place, I didn't even realize I was crying until I feel the tears roll down my cheeks.

i was wiccan as a early teen because it made me feel welcome and truly believed in it. (i wasnt the one to practice witch craft) but my parents found out and destroyed my room looking for all evidence and throwing it away. i told them 'you cant ask me to change who i am." they ruined all religion for me when they said ''yes we can." im an atheist trying to believe again. its hard after 7 years of believing gods or goddesses wouldnt let that happen. i dont think i ever can again.

You know my mother was apparently secretly Wiccan, and when I was little she tried to raise me Christian and do the so called “Socially acceptable way of being a good mother.” I had found the religion and think it was very beautiful and started practicing it myself. However, I felt somewhat guilty that I was keeping my beliefs hidden. However, me and my mom were chilling out on the beach and I started asking her questions and what she thought of magic and such things, and it turned into quite the conversation and when I said I was practicing it was like a whole weight that I guess she was carrying lifted and now I’m closer to my mom and we are now happy and practicing what we both believe. So I understand some may be nervous and some may have a very good reason to be, but people can surprise you. I honestly thought my mom would start yelling at me or turn down the idea and disregard it. Now I wish I had done it sooner.

I walked away from a Catholic religion . It just did not feel right. Now nature felt right the moon called to as it calls to me especially in full moon I found peace I found myself drawn to magic
