You are so right. My father respects me a lot. He says if he were living my life he would have succumbed to depression or worse. It’s like bad things don’t bother me much. I have moon 29 degree 8th house with rahu in aries. Survivor of abuse, trauma resulting in PTSD and chronic health issues. Slowly healing myself...its a long hard climb but one that's necessary. My Moon is in the 8th house, Taurus, Vargottama, and Atmakaraka. My mom was a very loving and caring person and devoted all her time and energy towards taking care of our family. However, in 2012, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and fought a long six year battle with it until passing away in 2018. I was 19 at the time. She was an herbalist and had her own small business while also trying to balance a stay at home life. It was called "Green Woman Herbs" She was one of the healthiest people that I knew, never smoke a day in her life, and still ended up succumbing to cancer. She was in labor with me for 19 hours. Regardless of what happened, though, I do truly believe that she had found god in her death. Her death chart has Sun, Mercury, and Lagna all in Rohini, exactly conjunct my Moon with Sag Moon in the 8th house conjunct Saturn. I went through a lot of anticipatory grief during the last year of her life when it took a turn for the worst, so I ended up feeling at peace when she finally was able to move on. She was one of the strongest people that I've ever known in my life.

Human psychology and brain is just so complex that still to this day scientists work on the subject. When I was a child, my mom didn’t care about me that much I felt so neglected and also I didn’t see my father growing up so I think moon in the eighth House absolutely gives people family issues. I also have ketu with my moon in the eighth house so I think this makes everything worse but at the same time this is a one time opportunity to feel these intense emotions and feelings without being on drugs.😂 moon, the eighth house will give you a mind that doesn’t really stop criticizing and talking. Also, this placement might give people knowledge about human psychology because they feel so intense emotions and feelings, and they know how others will react to certain situations so they could manipulate them. There are lots of good and bad things about moon in the eighth house, but as a person who have this placement, the absolute thing that I can say about it is that intensity. It’s just intensity, complexity, curiosity, searching all the time.

I have moon Jupiter in Taurus in 8th. Much of what you said is true except that I have the most wonderful, nurturing relationship with my mother; always did, and we live next door to her. And because of this, I am also a very good mother myself. Why does my placement for me not bring out a difficult relationship with mother/nurturing?
