The way Moon Jo kept calling him 'jagi'....it was creepy yet so flirty. I loved every minute of this. The reason why am never watching romance Kdrama ever again. Crime thrillers are better
yes same. i used to just watch rom-com or action kdrama but now i am really into thrillers. i read thriller comics now too and books too. its come to be my favorite genre nowadays.
@@caseypearce2497 same. just back then i would read comics like ‘i was xxx by my idol!’ but then, i found aweet home, continuously i watched train to busan more horror then got into thriller and started reading thriller comics. now i have files of my favorite scenes in a thriller comic, mostly like stakling with creepy vibes, yet flirty but indeed creepy.
@@caseypearce2497 could you recommend to me some comics and series from this genre. This was my very first one but I loved every second of it, I'm truly amazed by the concept of this thriller.
@@sonialara2233 sorry for the late reply. Here are ones that are on top of my head right now. - Psychopath diary (which i find similar vibes with this drama strangers from hell) - Sweet home - Alice in borderland - Mouse -Gap dong And maybe beyond evil. I havent watched it yet but I feel it will be good.
@@caseypearce2497 is there larg focus on romance between male and the female in psychopath diary ? or just like strangers from hell i really hate the normal romance i kdrama
Seriously, Moon Jo was the perfect psychopath because he picked his prey (Jong Woo) without a single mistake. He could see right through him, the second they met, and in the end Moon Jo basically won. Jong Woo ended up being everything Moon Jo knew he was deep down. It was actually a beautifully crafted story and it succeeded at straying from the cliched/norm of "hero vs villain" like most American productions that I'm used to. Korea's writing is next-level amazing 😍I've greatly enjoyed all K Dramas I've seen from them so far.
@@rushuidraws6749it's what he is deep down. He had violent thoughts even before he met moonjo. Like he already had some psychopathic tendencies and anger issues. Those led him to the military incident where he got PTSD.
@@ilarybeq5837 about serial killer who gets addicted to a boy come in the same building as him because he wants to make the boy like him(serial killer).
@@sugarbaby9900 it got me wondering, they didn't show when protagonist killed the antagonist and the scene where it shows like someone was watching the police woman out of the hospital until she gets in the car. I mean, only the antagonist stalks like that right
@witchhunters I also got that Hannibal vibe and enjoyed the complexity of their relationship. Sometimes seduction is just a matter of words and gestures that only you can pickup on, like the restaurant scene where he almost hit the CEO with a bottle..... Savage.
that ting where Moon grabs Jong Woo's jugular is everything for me. In a small way it's a symbol of trust. the jugular is so vunerable just letting a killer touch it like that . . . Ahhh so sexy
This drama a masterpiece! when Jong woo was hurt and scared i hoped MJ would comfort him tho, ik he is a psycho but still..Hug your boi and love him smh
But for real this is so well played that in the beginning I asked myself if these were actors or not...the chemistry between the two of them is insane and I love it! Always knew Jong Woo was his aim
Lee Dong Wook the guy who literally made/shaped Im Shi Wan into the killer Me: never mind that he called him honey more then once, is weirdly obsessed with him, gave him the bracelet that Im Shi Wan kept on and even said the iconic “ my dear you and I can now be together forever “ In collusion ...... I ship them hard
@@Simsrubifreeplay Lee dong wook was obsessed with shi wan because shi wan was a perfect personality vise but also in a situation where he was vulnerable enough to be manipulated , We can see throughout the show how shi wan has random anger outbursts, as he imagine himself on few different occasions to beat up his coworkers to death and stuff, shi wan is also in a situation where he is alone in a new environment, making him easy to manipulate and isolate, there are a lot of types of abuse but one that’s sometimes even worse then physical, is Isolation as a Form of Abuse Isolation plays a major role in domestic violence cases alongside other tactics that separate victims from their loved ones ( shi wan didn’t have many friends or as much family support to begin with) so when he started clinging desperately to everyone telling them how his whole building is a psychopath apartment, no one believed him, making him eventually starting to resent his gf and others He probably felt suffocated everywhere he went , that’s when Lee dong wook comes along, at the beginning, shi was thought he was one of the normal neighbors, but when he released he’s actually the main psychopath it was too late , shi wan is also suspected of having split personality disorder or developed one cause of the trauma after everything that happened, when he was choking Lee dong wook at the last episode, his gf woke up and saw him choking himself, he was hallucinating, when he killed other tenants, we saw Lee dong wook kill them but it was him, Lee dong woo. Managed to morph himself into him, becoming a part of him , or rather his second personality, I genuinely believe he wanted to make him into a same kind of person as him and go into killing sprees together, but like still managed to obtain his goal as he did made him develop a second personality that will do his job for him , also at the end of last episode, when the female cop went to talk to Shi Wan she hallucinated Lee dong wook at the end , that was mostly cause of her ptsd cause he did stalk her but it can also be because she felt him inside of shi wan
@@arwynn1203 They are allies? It seemed to me more like Moon Jo manipulated Jong Woo to commit those murders, besides he kills him I think they were not allies, he was just a killer who turned a boy into a killer
Am i weird? I loved them together and i wanted them to be together. I was sad when he died but i was glad the other people died. I really wanted them to be together.. why did i find the bracelet pretty amd why was i happy he kept it on his hand??!!?! Their chemistry was the best i ever saw! Tf this drama.. i cant find any good drama now Im not satisfied with anything after this masterpiece
It’s fine to like them together but weird to want the other ppl dead just so they can stay together. Clearly it was very toxic esp for Jung Woo. So yea you’re weird lol
@@pencil6965 no they aren’t. This is a fictional series. The fact that actors say they gave seductive eyes is telling enough lol. It’s okay to want the bad guys to win. That’s why ppl love shows like, You, Death Note, Dexter, etc.. It’s all about creative lenses. Especially considering he won in the end and Jung woo is taking over his mantle as a new killer. Op - Maybe one day we’ll get a gay Joe and Love 😂😂 and see that toxicity l
I just finished watching it. After Squid Game, this was one of the K series recommended by many. I hope popularity picks up and they make a prequel about Moon Jo.
Watch it twice to pickup all the nuances I missed the first time around. This was such a well-crafted story and the acting was top notch. Lee Don't Woo at his sexist. Simple gestures, words, inflections was all that he needed to do to set the tone. Both actors mastered the chemistry and it made us want more.I would have loved a season two where he was battling moon in his mind.
Another reason why Jung woo enjoyed the killing is because the people around him is all sh*tty. Imagine opening up to someone about things that has been bothering you and telling you that you’re just too sensitive. Imagine your pervert co-worker coming at you saying bullsh*ts to you. Imagine your “friend” tryna get your girlfriend. I am convinced that his girlfriend doesn’t even really give a damn about him. Also the fact that she didn’t set up her boss to their “friend” and when she met with him instead of just asking her boyfriend. Concern my ass There’s too many sh*tty people in his life to the point that he thought the rapper is also fcking with him and he didn’t believe him. It’s sad that he had to die the painful way. I also feel bad for that one decent friend who listened to him and came with him to the apartment.
I agree. The circumstances under which he lived weren't good. He always had the wrong people around him. Also a big point is, that he's a very impulsive person. Like you could see in the secenes in the past he always had a problem with handling his aggressions. He is normally a very calm person, but he doesn't know how to get rid of his aggressions and bad thoughts. Jung Woo better bottles everything up, but at some point it's enough and he loses it. That can be very dangerous, especially for the others. People with these characteristics tend to be vulnerable for things like that. And what would you espect from a helpless broken person who's mind got really badly messed up? If the only person who is helping you in a bad situation and is listening to you, is manipulating you and offering you to join it's no wonder he did that.
what if moonjo isn't dead and what we saw jungwoo killing moonjo was just him hallucinating. moonjo lead jungwoo to kill the rest and he wanted jungwoo to take his anger out and mould him into something that moonjo wanted. what if jungwoo killed him in his head but not in reality or maybe i should go sleep
No, unfortunately he is dead in both scenarios presented. The perfection of Moon's masterpiece was the killing of Moon, which non of his proteges wanted to do because they seeked Moon's approval. Moon could hear the splitting of Jung's personality while bleeding on the floor. That why he said they will be together forever. Moon is alive and kicking in Jungwoo's mind.
@@louisanna30 moon was encouraging jungwoo to be what moon wanted him to be and now that jungwoo killed the rest of the cast from the apartment moon has actually succeeded in getting the psycho out of jungwoo. he was carving the psychopath in jungwoo while making him take his anger out on the people he killed so that jungwoo gets to know how nice and pleasurable it is to kill someone. i fucking love this man
@@namtidd292 read an article in Reddit by nuba3 that make an excellent argument for him being alive, plus Jong was not wet when he killed Moon and Not all the bodies we're buried in the beginning so the gray shirt guy, *forgot the name, could have had his teeth pulled out and put to the side. decomposition would not be that quick because the temperature was changing, getting colder. Kanupriya Joshi jong woo had mental issues, moon jo helped to grow them (that’s basically what the whole series is about) , so in the end jong woo was completely delusional and moon jo was just his hallucination
I have two questions, it'll be of great help if someone answers them briefly because I can't be at peace 😭😭😭 1. You know in that episode I guess 6th one, when new roommate comes and he asks for charger? But after that they showed he already had charger, so why did he asked for one? At that time he was detective or something 2. The most asked question is that is moon jo alive???😭😭 and why did he told him to kill everyone, he ruined him man 😭😭😭😭😭
And ok I was not prepared for that MY GOD FATHER LOVED HOLY CHRIST it was perfect I loved it very much man I just didn't understand much about this BL so please can someone explain to me arigato i p sorry for the inconvenience bye it was very good video (๑ ♡ ⌓ ♡ ๑) 👏❤️✌️
It pisses me off seeing people ship them!! Like u missed the whole point of the f*king thing. He was not in love with him, he *saw himself in him*, he saw *what could be perfection of his own persona*
