I recently bought a 4K TV with the intention of showing live views of the Moon in 4K. Unfortunately the maximum resolution the P1000 can stream via HDMI is 1080p.

Seems weird watching it upside down and going in the wrong direction, must visit the Southern Hemisphere sometime it would freak me out 😄

You really should. I grew up in South Africa and the night sky is totally different down there. If you love watching the sky at night then a visit down south of the planet is a must :-)

@@Electrowave It's not my fault. I contracted herpes on my lip from a toilet seat.

Nice! What did the moon bump into at the end, did it hit the dome over the Earth? ;-)

Lols, that was me trying to find the record on/off button in the dark

@@dazzathecameraman See, you find the evidence of a dome and then blame it on yourself. I don't know ;-) That's amazing footage considering a little portable camera on a tripod shooting through the atmosphere and over such a long distance to the moon. Light pollution is a problem in some areas at the moment, I wonder how long it will be before the orbiting debris pollution will start becoming the problem to see clearly out into space.

@ᶠᵘᶜ-ᵏ ᵐᵉ cнёcк ʍʏ ρяσfιℓ The most difficult part of the southern hemisphere is having to walk around on your hands all the time ;-)

The Moon is upside down - or maybe I am?

Looks like a sphere to me. You seem to have the proper tools there, would you help me with an experiment ? finding the sun by using the moon.

That can't be right. In the northern hemisphere the right side is illuminated. That could only happen if the earth was a glo... 😁😁

Lols, that's interesting. The smallest craters we can see in my video are at least 10 km across. The Apollo 11 descent stage is much too small to be seen :)

@@dazzathecameraman Don't lie... with a P1000 you should be able to show us even the astronauts footprints! /s
