Maybe you have other stronger placements that are influencing your chart..but in my experience a Pisces moon or someone with strong Pisces placements does absorb the energy around them like all water signs, we feel deeply. Yes!! I'm a Pisces Moon and my mom has always been the nicest person ever, but her health issues since I was very young made her neglect me to a great extent. Moon is in the 8th house in scorpio sitting with ketu. Even tho it is quite aspected by malefic planets which may have contributed the roots of my general anxiety I am learning to deal my mind in a healthy way. I think once you get older it gets a lot easier and starts giving its best. First you learn to deal with your demons because you simply have to. Then it gives you the ability to help others understand themselves so through this way you can also heal yourself. It really reminds me of Chrion the Wounded Healer. Even tho I feel like I am at the very beginning of this journey the mission seems more clear to me every passing day. Sometimes it gets harder to separate intuition from paranoia. I have moon in aquarius but also influenced by aspects from Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn etc. which adds much more emotional flavour than a pure moon in aqua :)

I’m fairly new to vedic astrology after studying tropical astrology for the past couple of years. Lately I’m still in the process of seeing which system I connect to the most, because I relate to both in some ways. In tropical I’m a gemini sun, taurus moon and scorpio rising and in vedic I’m a taurus sun, aries moon, and scorpio rising. Even though I truly feel connected to my tropical taurus moon’s energy, I felt slightly disappointed with the aries moon description, as it didn’t truly feel like me (except for the mom issues and anger issues part), but when I checked the description and saw that this could be applied to the d1 and d9 chart, I saw that my d9 moon is in libra, and holy sh*t… having those two made so much sense! It’s almost as if my d1 aries moon is my shadow side, the side that I don’t like and keep hidden from most people, and my d9 libra moon is the energy that I embody and represent most of the time, probably because of the venusian energy I’m used to. This is crazy!

*Capricorn Moon* - Fortunately for me, I didn't have to experience scarcity in my childhood nor upbringing. However, through my childhood, my mother did instill in me good lessons and sense of responsibility in everything. I believe the effect it had on me was that it brought me heavy guilt when I did something I knew my mother would be ashamed of, and I have had a hard time overcoming making deliberately wrongful, pitiful decisions that affected others. Additionally, when I was younger, I was cut off from my friends in public school and was put into online schooling. This made me isolated from all of the friends I previously had, and brought me to lose childhood memories I would have otherwise had.
moon in Aries are portrayed as aggressive here which is disproportionate, yes they can be headstrong but that can demonstrates leadership qualities which was not picked up. Gina has framed most of the moon in Aries attributes as inflexible which is inaccurate. There may have been a failure to address the sensitivity of moon-Aries due to mars/scorpio influence. She is spot on with the ‘mother conflict’ of this aspect so well done for that!
