Both Mark and Steven had no idea about Jake as they made the agreement with Khonshu only for themselves, never for Jake! This is the reason why Khonshu let them go free so easily, he knew his unfinished business could be handled by Jake after all. This clearly tells that Mark and Steven had no idea about third personality which Khonshu, who knew both more than how much they knew about themselves, still can manipulate.
