Please note the difference between a timeshare and the Membership with Palace… Palace is not a timeshare in the literal sense. We’ve been members for over 20 years. It’s all about whether we choose to listen to the spiel or not. There is no pressure and we can say we don’t want to attend the membership presentation when we come every year. There is not a yearly fee like there are with timeshares. We consider our membership as prepaying for a fantastic vacation in the winter to get out of the frigid cold of the north. It all depends upon what you negotiate for your upcoming membership weeks. Obviously we love Palace since we’ve been members over 20 years. We’ve stayed a couple other places and have always come back to Palace!
Sea weed is very common during certain months. We usually go in March (10-18)to avoid the problem or anytime after hurricane season which is around November . The sea weed does create a very foul smell and sometimes creates non swimming areas in the ocean due to the amount that comes out. They try their best to clean up but sometimes they can't keep up.
Hi, are all the restaurants where you tried the foods that taste too salty ? I want to book a Cancun trip but I care about whether the food tastes good or not.
lt depends on your palette, but I personally found it to be too salty at most of the restaurants. Of note, I rarely ever use a salt shaker to add salt to my food.
@@ViratPatelYT I had Mexican food this Wednesday the foods was so salty, I still have upset stomach now. I wonder if all restaurants taste so salty. If yes, I will look for other resorts.
I’ve been going to Palace for over 20 years now. I don’t “do” salt and have never had a dish/meal which tasted salty to me. Of course, it depends upon what meal you choose, but I’ve always been happy.
Which side did you stay on? I’m leaning toward the Sunrise because the kids are no longer free on the Grand side. I would rather pay for the day pass. Does everyone share the sameness game room?
We stayed in Nizuc and really enjoyed it. Sunrise is also beautiful but just a little more crowded in my opinion. We honestly did not have a preference on which one to stay at as long as we got the ocean view room that we requested. There are separate playrooms at both Sunrise and Nizuc. The Sunrise playroom is geared towards kids 4-12 years old and the Nizuc playroom is for kids 4-10 years old. Both playrooms are great and open from 9am-10pm.
@@ViratPatelYT ok thank so you much. I hear some ppl say the Sunrise rooms have double size beds. Instead of the queens size. Was it like that at the Nuzic side?
