This was one of my late dad’s favorite songs. I so wish that he was still alive and could hear this, and that I could be sitting next to him. Beautiful, Naomi. ♥️ Edit to add, I just noticed my dog, ButterBean gazing at me with concern. I guess it’s the tears washing over my face.
“Two drifters, off to see the world There's such a lot of world to see We're after the same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me”
I'm so glad I came across this video, this cover is one of the most relaxing songs I've listened to, and is perfect for calming down when anxieties are high. Everything about this video is amazing, I am definitely following this channel
Having Worked and performed with (Drums and percussion) The iconic Mr. Henry Mancini Back in Los Angeles California, I can honestly say that if he had heard Naomi’s rendition of moon river here, he would have absolutely fallen in love with it! He would absolutely be ecstatic with her and her rendition of his classic; “ Moon river” In fact I feel fairly confident that he would’ve contacted her and asked her to work with him that’s how beautiful this rendition is!
Michael : MICHAEL thank you for your inquiry. Well, this was in 1971, I was 20 years old I remember a lot about my time with Henry Mancini, Mainly I remember reading off the original scores I actually was able to read all the original scores for his classic pieces I remember well playing the “Peter Gunn” theme that was on the programs, “Baby Elephant Walk”. we did a lot of medleys of his famous movie themes for instance, “The Days of Wine and Roses” was another one of my favorites that we did! “Hatari”, The theme from “Mr. Lucky”, and of course my favorite: “ The theme from the Pink Panther”! But what I really remember that most besides all that great music we did was playing side-by-side along with the greats the GREAT jazz musicians, Shelly Manne, Ray Brown, And so many other great jazz/studio musicians I got to hang out with them on the breaks and pick their brains. they told me some great stories and gave me some great pointers for becoming a professional studio player! I will Never forget that experience it was really an eye-opener they were the best!🥁🖖
@@nealsausen4651 That's a great story and those experiences must have shaped your musical leanings and taste for life, and I have to say i like a lot of those themes you mentioned too! thankyou for the story. wishing you well, Neal.
Michael : Yeah Michael that Music was the best! That was real music! thanks and good luck! By the way are you too a musician? If so what kind of music do you play what instrument you play?

The comments I read from your fans are so positive. The joy you are bringing with your talent is palpable. Attention will surely only multiply in the months ahead. As it looks like the marriage proposals. Ha. Your Harpsicle playing is heavenly, as are your well thought out videos. Thank you.🌹🐝
A beautiful view, a beautiful song, and a beautiful musician. ^_^. What more can we ask for? Great job to whoever did the camerawork too. The balance of color and light is beautiful.
This reminded me of an old game i used to play called Eastshade. The game was so beautiful and calming. After listening to your music i went back to it. To be honest, i was struggling with a lot of stress and the game became my happy place once again. Thank you for reminding me of old memories

When I was a child (I'm 48,) I would visit my grandmother in Indiana for the summer. She had a music box that played Moon River. Thanks for helping me remember that.
@@SpaceCattttt money has nothing to do with happiness. Filling the emptiness with possessions will never make you happy. You need to find happiness inside you.
I learned this on piano when I was young and I loved it. As I got older though I fell out of practicing and don't remember how to play it, but it's still one of my favorite songs.

Brava. I miei complimenti!! 👍👍👍💋💋💋
Wow ! Double Wow !! Triple Wow !!! Well done, Naomi ! Kudos to the max, young lady ! So incredibly enchanting ! THANK YOU so much for sharing your terrific talent with us ! CHEERS !! :-)
