Good question. I used 4 screws, screwed from top to bottom. Glue is probabily bad idea, because of high temperatures. Screw's heads are 2mm deep in kevlar, so there is no real risk of being burned by metal.
@@KarmazynFireshow I would say glue and screw. Apart from the smell, cold glue responds very well to high temperatures, it just gets harder. Also, sure you probably wont burn yourself on the screws but that won't matter when you're being burnt by the huge metal loop at the top of the poi... I recommend replacing cable with twist link chain and loop with heavy duty fishing swivel.
Stainless steel wire cable is recommended, but I personally don't like this this method as it leaves too much exposed metal... I prefer using twist link chain with a shark fishing split ring at the end.
hi i was curious to know if you remembered how long your flat wicks were? i want to make a set on my own but cant seem to get a god guesstimate of length anywhere
We used 4 meters of kevlar for this pair. (about 13,33 feet). 2 x 1/8 inch Wick (50mm/3.2mm). So 1 piece was 1 meter long, and there were 4 pieces. 2 for each poi.
