I just want to comment how much I appreciate how incisive you are when describing nail polish colors and finishes. Your attention to detail does not go unnoticed!
I'm revisiting this video because I feel of all the phenomenal polishes I've bought this year, and there has been truly phenomenal polishes this year, bootlegger is my favorite of 2023. Im pretty sure. I'm not even an earthy color girl or a super huge mooncat (live love polish) fan, but bootlegger is so rich and odd at least to my collection I just love it.
Ok so honestly, I was already in some sort of "deer in the headlights" trance during the first five swatches, just overcome by how stunning those shades are. But when you got to Moonrise....girl, I could not get to my credit card fast enough 😍😍😍
I can't tell you how grateful I am for your swatches and color descriptions. I'm not sold on the whole collection, but there were a few shades I had my eye on, but wanted to see someone review first. I'm now planning to buy Moonrise, Midnight Rider, and Outlaw Country.
ETA: Of COURSE we want the video where you tell us all the plans for each room. It won't be boring to us! No way can I pick a favorite, and that's saying something since brown is my favorite color. Mooncat really outdid themselves.
The creator of Mooncat has an amazing eye for detail. I love this brand. While this collection didn't totally speak to me...I still ordered half ot it 😂
Sand Viper, Moonrise, & Prickly Pear are my favorites. I think it's a beautiful collection. I'm glad you put Moonrise on as a topper, I was wondering how it would look. I am enjoying the new house content! But, with two collab launches, a new house, move, etc, you can take all the time you need. I'm hoping you can get in some vacation time in the near future - to help balance out! 🫶🏻
Well these polishes have definitely changed my mind about browns. Dark horse with fools gold is AMAZING! Midnight rodeo draws me because I can never turn down a good blurple. How you paint a perfect nail makes me jelly!
I really love that these colors are out of the ordinary color choices that other brands usually come out with. It's like a pallet cleanser 😋 Amazing collection from Mooncat. Love it love it love it !
So smart💡to get your bedroom put together first…it’s where you start and end the day so it NEEDS to be peaceful, serene and relaxing! Otherwise, home improvements and chaos are expected when moving into a new home. Happy for y’all🥰 And please don’t stop talking about it😉… As for the polish💅🏻, I recently found Mooncat and I love them! I bought the whole Alice and Wonderland collection (perfection)! I’m loving Sand Viper and Whiskey Sunrise! I’m getting to the point where it feels like I’m saying, “don’t I already have that one in another brand?” Now, it’s all about the formula and whether it applies easily😉
I need all of these. The prickly pear is giving "get out of my swamp" but full classy mode. Love all of these and thank you for swatching Moonrise over black, I was literally thinking about how good it would look and you did it!! ❤❤❤
When I first saw this collection I really was not interested but now seeing the swatches I absolutely need it. I gasped when you first put on Moonrise I don't think I've ever seen a polish that was so beautiful.
I really like the collection. Sand viper looks like a nice neutral color i would pick for my nails to be my wedding mani for. I also get what you were saying about the combo looking like a designer bag because i have one with that exact color combination. Lol.
I looooved this collection, and for the very first time, I purchased some of these polishes, including magnetic polishes. I live in Sweden, and I'm happy that they ship here. ❤❤

Yes, we want to know about what you plan on doing with all your new rooms in your new house and we’re not sick of hearing about it. There hasn’t been enough time to be sick of hearing about it. 😂 But everyone should go over to your vlog channel. I know you always say “this is boring, I don’t think anyone cares about this” but I love those relatable vlogs where you’re showing me the groceries you’re excited about, candles, Amazon stuff and clothes. I totally don’t dress like you, but I had clicked on some links for those boots with a hundred buckles and now I get all these ads on IG that I see and I’m like “this is definitely because I started looking at those boots and continued on with other things I thought were cute but can’t pull it off.” I’m enjoying the change up in ads though because before it was like all bras. 😂

Dark horse is so freaking stunning! I’m trying not to like moon cat because I want to support Indi brands, but moon cat really did a wonderful job with this collection

I really loved this collection but waited to buy the whole thing until your review came out because I wanted to see how some shades actually looked as you put them on as well as the final look. I'm still not 100% about the matt finish for the two polishes but my favorites were Dark Horse, Moonrise and Midnight Rider. I can see these being shades I can fun with for many seasons.

I love all the pinks! But I also love that blue! Every time I watch your videos I wanna buy more nail polish. I’m already a product junky for hair products really trying not to be a nail product junky 😂

The maker of Mooncat is a genius. She has tempting marketing, totally unique products, and an irresistible appeal to all of us nail polish enthusiasts.
It is these kinds of sets that make me wish I could have longer nails. I have a fantastic nail art idea with Dark Horse and Midnight Rider, but not enough "nail estate". Every time I decide to keep my nails long, I eventually shorten them because I work on a keyboard all day every day, and just cannot type well with the tips of my nails, plus it just feels weird to me, so I have to use my finger tips which means shorter nails. I could retire, but then I might not be able to afford all of these polishes😱and that just won't do! Ah well, I'll come up with something for my shorties with these two polishes because I WILL NOT be able to pass them by! Thank you, as always, for your review! 🤗

Thank so much for your quick reviews! I'm so excited about Moonrise especially after you showed it over black. How would you say Bootlegger and Whiskey Sunrise compare to HoloTaco's Tax Haven? I know the HT has holo glitters in it but I'm talking more colorwise. Because I'm interested in both from Mooncat but don't really want a color too close to a shade I already have.

I picked up Moonrise, Sand Viper, Fool’s Gold, Outlaw Country, Midnight Rider, and When the Devil Comes on launch day! I may end up picking up Dark Horse and Whiskey Sunrise though because the more I see swatches of them, the more I feel like I’ll like them.
Midnight Rider and Outlaw Country (after seeing them all) are my absolute favorite of the entire collection. But I also love Moonrise (over black!), but, and I don't know if it's just me, When the Devil Strikes almost reminds me of China Glaze's Lug Your Designer Baggage, which I FINALLY found and got my hands on and love.
I was waiting for this to decide what I’d snag first (as I’ve already picked up someone’s full collab this month.) i’ve really been into oranges, so your detail on Whiskey Sunrise’s sparkles is intriguing. Love Outlaw Country. I thought you might compare Dark Horse to tiger’s eye. Moonrise is intriguing because of its blue shiftiness. Loved your over black swatch. I think that Mooncat is in the lead with the post-Barbie blues we’ve been seeing. I’ll get most of them between my birthday next month and the eclipse sale.
