The build quality and visuals for both IEMs and the cable are top notch for the price. Such a shame the tuning is... lagging behind somewhat significantly. Would have made for an amazing gift material, but alas...
@@CammyFi I've been eyeing those, but they seem to have a scary looking spike in the treble - both intense and narrow. Those can be very hard, if at all possible, to fix with EQ since they shift around depending on the insertion depth. May even end up boosting the peak even more, while making a huge cut were it's really undue. It's true that narrow band peaks are "less audible" (simply less obvious/apparent), but... I just really don't want to facilitate hearing damage in anyone, especially in such a direct way and when they're my close ones. 😅 AFAIK, they may end up not producing that peak in practice depending on the fit, eartips and such. And vice versa. But I'd rather not take the chances after I've seen it consistently show up on most FR graphs available.
