@@P34K74X that can be a little misleading. The primary use of amps is to do exactly what it’s called. AMPLIFY your music. Some have EQ software, but that’s about it. I would do some more homework on DACs and AMPs before you spend unnecessary money. Maybe go watch some crinicle vids

Hi Fresh, question for you! For gaming, how would you compare IEMs compared to headphones with regards to value for money? Where would something like the Sennheiser HD560S at $150 compare to the IEM tier list? For reference, I currently have the QkZ x HBB (stock cable) and Philips SHP9500 with no DAC or amp, and was curious what the best way to upgrade my setup is for around $200 ($250 max). Please let me know if you have a video on this topic (or similar topics, like the most efficient way to allocate a budget towards an audio setup). I've seen a lot of your content, but definitely not everything.

Very great review. You explain so well with personal experience that I can really imagine how they sound. I'm a guy who likes budget in ears with some better up to 100. But I needed a budget earphone up to 40 dollars for travelling, music, video editing and maybe gaming, and sth with cable. This sound like the perfect in ear for me. Excited to hear how they sound on my phone with the moondrop link usb-c dongle together.

great review as usual, it's good to have another good budget option with a different tuning, but I actually don't like that the shell is metallic, some people (me) get super annoying moisture issues with every metallic iem ever (like the dioko or the chu) but plastic and resin (truthear zero) are perfectly fine

@@wanaboed After some time of using them water starts to condense in the nozzle, and if you don't wipe it off every so often it causes channel imbalance issues. The other day I fell asleep while using the dioko and when I woke up the left side didn't work at all

I was thinking of buying the Truthear x Crinacle Zero (and the Red variant) but I eventually ordered a pair of these. Build quality being better (with how badly the quality control was with the Truthears x Crinacle), a more neutral sound profile and the fact that it's Moondrop put me at ease as a buyer. The Moondrop Arias are my current go to set but are terrible for gaming especially in something like Overwatch. Something will be coming from the left but I'll hear it on rhe right.

@@M0_305For games (FPS) only: LAN, for music: Red Zero. The LAN is really lean on the low end which is perfect for FPS but not really enjoyable for music.

I use the Sennheiser ie900s with the Dolby Atmos app installed. Wonderful spatial audio experience and brilliant imaging. You should give them a try. Would be keen to get your thoughts. They are expensive but well worth it for the sheer accuracy of the audio!

Just received this and immediately use it to play Valorant, and oh my lord the footsteps are so much more noticeable compared to my good ol' iBasso IT01, the stock cable is a little cheap to me since my previous IEM comes with copper cable by default, might consider getting the same cable to get the same experience as you do, but the priority is to get rid of the stock cable, thank you for making this review video!

Yo Fresh, do you feel like the Azla tips have any influence on the sound - or does it sound like the default Lan tips? I've got a Lan, and the sound just amazed me. But the tips didn't seem to be much comfortable for me, so I popped the Spring Tips in. However the sound got rather thin and positioning felt off, so definetly this isn't the best pairing for both music and gaming purposes.

Interesting yet good video. These are in my favorites but I do wonder. You can make iems Bluetooth. Not sure how the quality is but we are pretty close to the computer anyway. Not sure how the latency will be but I wonder which device you would recommend. Maybe look into it. I personally use liberty 3 pro or 4 with apo equalizer presets on my end. Good video 👍

My ears are small and i experience discomfort after sometime when wearing the lan. I use the medium size tips that came With the lan. Is this normal and will the discomfort reduce after using them for 2-3 weeks or will i have to change the ear tips to azla sednaearfit light?

Recently bout the truthear crinacle zero and I find the nozzle to big for my ears with the smallest tips on, 15-20 mins of wearing becomes very uncomfortable, is there a tip I can buy that might help? Have wanted him to try those out as well and ngl you're likely a big reason why I got the ssr but man I hate them. Hurt my ears physically and higher pitched sounds also hurt super badly. Not something I've experienced with other devices before.

I'm on the verge of buying the Hexa but I fear if it got any fit issues. I have a Salnotes Zero and it's a fantastic iem but I want to replace it with a much comfortable iem. @@Nick_in_the_6ix nice purchase! tbh i'm also making a switch from the Salnotes Zero (sound is great, but it's ok comfortable... i find it a bit shallow) up to 50$. My focus is not competitive gaming (so i don't mind a slightly warmer bass), but i also want something super comfortable, so i'd lean towards the Cadenza (probably the worse of the 3 for gaming). For gaming, the Lan looks like it might be the best option accounting al the factors, but i can't vouch for it yet.

Hey Fresh, I currently have the Truthear Zero with the Tripowin cable. Would you recommend the Moondrop Lan or the Truthear Zero for Valorant? I'm not exactly in love with the Truthear Zero so I'm wondering what's the biggest difference between the two?

I somewhat discuss it in the video but the main difference is less sub bass and mid bass. It’s more neutral bright. So if the bass gets to you on the zero, this will feel more tame and a bit more open in terms of space

No! I found the difference being they seem to have more efficiency in some of the driver placement. I prefer the hbb now
