please continue to list all iems that you compare, it was so hard to figure out what was being compared to in your earlier videos, sometimes when watching in higher speeds its hard to figure out the model names 🙏
I have the freedsp cable and use it for video calls with my gf on messenger. Serves its purpose. App is buggy but i can make it work. Its nice to EQ the chu 2 but i dont really use it. I just needed that cable quality and mic. As long as my cable slave serves its purpose. To get it to recognize the cable , force stop the app. Open the app and plug the cable in AFTER opening the app. It usually wont work if you plug it before opening the app. I dont know why it works the way it does. Its definetly an issue though
OFF TOPIC. Want to let you know the driver of recent KZ EDX Pro has been changed to the same driver as in EDX Lite. Been thinking you probably be interested to graph the difference between the previous driver and the current ones and give opinions about it.
As a quick solution on the go a DSP cable can have some reason for being..... but for proper sound nothing beats a desktop set up or a portable DAC/AMP
There is still too many obstacles to overcome and where we to speak about a proper DSP cable this would have to be better than say a Qudelix 5K and a cable .....which I don't see happening any time soon
Please tell me which one is better, ziigaat nuo or the og cadenza. I like the warm sound of the male vocals with a good amount of sub bass and a sparkly , airy treble with a big sound stage, whichever has the bigger stage. Along with good detail retrieval for the money. Which one is suiting me the best. KIWI EARS CADENZA or ZIIGAAT NUO.
For me the Cadenza is better, it's one of the best sounding single DD IEM under 50usd ....problem is there are so many models that people forget about it.
This might be an android problem because of a certain setting telling the phone how to deal with usb connected devices. This setting is also NOT in the normal settings menu but in the hidden devoloper menu. Thankfully the procedure to unlock the menu is very simple and the required change is pretty obvious once you browse the menu, but it is a long menu.
You might be correct , but the reality is that although it is an interesting product the DSP be it from Moondrop or for that matter the TANCHJIM one, are both full of bugs and too many in resolved problems. It's a product that should have been developed better before launching. To top it all off you then have Mr Crin endorsing it as the magic elixir that makes the Dusk the be all end all IEM under 500 USD , when all it's doing is EQing the Dusk. Fair enough not all know how to EQ properly but you know what it would have been better to have launched the Dusk analog only and then provide the EQ settings separately..... ohhhhh but wait then no one would buy the Dusk....and no money would be made.....zero ethnical conduct.
@akros9333 - You're absolutely right, while it may be fixable, people spend good money on a product, and it should be expected to work properly upon purchase and use. No one should need to go through any hurdles to get their device to work, unless it was absolutely necessary (sometimes for security reasons, but not in this case).
Hi, Tony... Im looking for a "complementary" iem for my EW 200, around 50$. Maybe more musical, relaxed. Im considering the May, Q1 pro, Red... I dont like the R2 build, but is an option too. Do you have any sugestion? Greetings!
After many searches, reading reviews and articles, I have narrowed down my options to EA500LM, Dunu Falcon Ultra and Aful Performer 5. I typically listen to Bollywood hits from the 90s and 2000s, Indian Pop, EDM (especially trap), and genres like Hip-hop and R&B. Can you kindly guide me in my purchase as you have already tried these sets.
You have an excellent choice of options but the LM is the winner It does everything the others can do in terms of being an all rounder. Dunu might occasionally have better bass and or better timbre....Performer 5 is an incredibly good hybrid set...clean....detailed...but the LM is definitely top Dog... especially at it's price!
Tony, that is an aggravating situation with the DSP cable. It shouldn’t make any difference but were you using an iPhone or android..? There is a lot of chatter about Moondrop DSP and its problems with iOS.
I have heard consistent murmurs about issues with Moondrop's newer DSP cables and their implementation / performance since release. I long since decided to pass on them. Tanchjim ONE DSP does not share similar issues and flaws as far as I know
@@opulentotter8594 Tanchjim definitely seems to have there act together when it comes to DSP and it’s associated software no doubt..especially when compared to Moondrop atm. I hope Moondrop can get it together with an app upgrade and or firmware revision.
Have you tried down loading hiby music player. In its settings is a feature for turning on high quality usb playback. My realme gt2 was rejecting everything till I turned on that feature. I now get good sound from DACs and DSPs but 😊 I always ignore notifications from apps which want to then access the dac or dsp like hiby or tidal.
That's true, you can switch from a phoe to a laptop easily. But the moondrop one is quite bad, very limited compared to EQ apps. It is basically a very small dongle. It would be better to use a dongle that allows eq. You'd get better quality and more power. @@Mas-Item
