Moondrop Stellaris Review 

I've just got mine for a week or so, I agree that the Stellaris might be not for everyone, but fortunately it turned out I was among some lucky ppl to be able to enjoy this pair. Just as u said they are bulky for a pair pf IEMs, but for me they fot perfectly in my ears since day 1, even among the most fitted IEMs I've ever had; it's a very very subjuective matter after all. Sound wise, they indeed lack precision in some genres esp pop, rock and the likes imo, but then again I'm among the exclusion here as I'm an opera, classic-instrumental person, and... for me they sound AMAZING... Overall personally I'm very satisfied with the pair, not to mention at such a relatively low price for the quality they offer, I assume Moondrop label them at the $100 price to be a market test for their planar IEMs in the future to which way they're heading w the tuning.. lol Anyway, good review, I've just been watching ur channel for several days n I like the cinematography, picture quality and ur presentation on ur reviews. Those r things that I find lacking in audio reviewers on youtube right now. Hope ur channel can grow to be one of the best audio review channels. Keep up the good work and good luck 👍🏻👍🏻 *just a humble suggestion, try offering sound sample in ur vids through binaural mics; there hasn't been any audiophile channel who does this as far as I know. Very righteous review! Just many people do hear what they need to justify the lots of money given for other planars. And many reviewers are pushing down the Stellaris since they already hyped the boxy Dioko, or the shouty S12, or the expensive and lacking detail Hook-X, or the meeee Dunu planar,... The Stellaris is a perfect iem but it is not everyone's beer because of the fit - you need Etymotic like deep fit; usually that is with the smallest foam tip from the package and be brave - deep, deep. And than you get: 1/ nearly an IE600 frequency response performance, with even more sub-bass and pretty enough mid-bass (check the FR graphs); 2/ if the upper-mids are shouty for you - do the Short Bus Olina mod with one mesh on the top of the nozzle - for me that made if perfect; 3/ great details retrieval and quite good FR balance; it is still bright, but not brighter that the IE600 or Dunu meeeee planar; 4/ all technicalities are amazing and the soundstage is a TOTL killer - only those that do headphones and value the soundstage and the space b/n instruments will appreciate it and love it; 5/ if you feed it from a balance source - OOOOMG! So, for those who would not go for deep fit - do not give it a try, silicone large tip with swallow insertion will give you only shouty mids and nearly piercing highs but if you do the deep fit you will understand very fast that these are the best $109 dollars spent and would even like to sell away some of your headphones.

Star?? don't think so it's not anything that special actually it's very uncomfortable compared to other IEMs you need to give at least $300 for proper IEM shells while other companies can give you that with amazing sound for less then $50 like TinHiFi T3 Plus which is only $70 and even sounds better then KATO and it's more comfortable
