Moong Dal Recipe • Moong Sprouts Recipe • Dal Tadka Recipe
Ingredients:
2-3 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
2.5 cups sprouted boiled moong dal
1/2 cup water
Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add chopped onion and fry until slightly brown.
Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Fry until tomatoes are softened.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and kasuri methi. Fry for a minute.
Add sprouted boiled moong dal and mix well.
Pour in water, cover, and cook for 5-6 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
